The directions on these things are all wrong and Azonic never would return any of my replies asking if they had any corrected versions, it's been months!... If you're not a mechanically minded person and don't want to pay someone to set these up don't buy them, Azonic will not help you. If you have a pair and need help email me and I'll help you if you cant figure it out. As far as the cranks are concerned, Azonic and their directions are the only weaknesses...

Absolutely bomb proof. With a little no how anyone can install these things, they are so basic and simple, instructions aren't necessary. Once you have them set they will last a lifetime. Will never come loose, or gain play of any kind. The only thing I would change is the aluminium spider to steel to prevent it from mashing into the crank and wobbling. No flex, resulting in awesome power transfer. 454 vs. Rocks = winner 454. You can barely scratch the durable (not to mention sexy) crome finish, never mind damaging them.

the stifist crank you will ever find. i have riped masive 30's and 35 ft drope's with no twikes bends or craks. i am stoked over this crank it out lasted my merlyn 8in fork wich i blew out the stanction threw the sidewall after a 35ft drop..... I LOVE THIS CRANK.

They have changed from the earlier models to provide the market with a unmatched product for price.
For the person concerned earlier, the set should have arrived to you with 12 mm worth of spacers. The Bearing Issue has been delt with so somewhere on the line you got an older set, or it was swapped. As for the wobble it could be many things...try a slight file to the surface where the bold threads into the crank. Very slight!!

Bottom Line:
These are the strongest cranks ever. Buy them if you huck big and are worried about breaking cranks. I will never own another set i'm going to just replace bearings until the day I die.

Bottom Line:
For the money you can't go wrong but plan on rigging them to get them right. I added a second bearing to the non-drive cup and turned the center spacer down on a lathe. I then ditched the aluminum end cups that only fit the smaller diameter of the spindle as they make setup difficult and used more spacers. A lot of people install them wrong and preload the bearings, but if you take care to not preload them, they will last a while. After a while the un-machined surface that the chainwheel/spider mounts too will gouge the ring and make it wobble. Nothing a little hammering to the spider/ring won't fix. After all these modifications they were perfect. Bad rating for Azonic not doing it right in the first place.

I really noticed a difference when first riding em & still do..3 big berings + stiff steel axle with those stiff cranks is the best...It's so fluid & stiff...I never thought my old aluminum cranks flexed-But they DO;legs produce tons of torque !..It's set up perfect & don't want to muck around trying to get my Truvativ guide to work--I'll just leave it Singlespeed-..Nice polish job too-I really like em!

Bottom line, I will die before these cranks do. It's scary to even think of a situation that would harm these cranks. My only complaint is that the spider bolt was cheesy aluminum and got all stripped out, so I replaced it with a Sears Hardware one that was twice as long, and it hasn't come loose yet. Also, it took like four hours to install, make sure you have enough spacers between the bearings to match your BB shell width, then use the rest to space the chainline. Buy a pair today, and have one less thing to worry about breaking.

Stiff, strong, and they've got more minerals than you do. These cranks are seriously stiffer than anything I've ever experienced. I use them for urban trials, and the concrete suffers more than they do when the arms hit ledges. You can adjust how hard it is to turn the cranks for no-foot moves and such. Totally tunable chainline. The pinch bolts are much better than a press-fit system for keeping the cranks tight. Price!!
Weaknesses:
Why don't they come with instructions? If you use the thin spacers, be sure to put them between two thicker spacers or up against the discs that cover the BB shell. If they're up against the crank arm, they'll deform and screw with the rotation of the crank. I also had problems with friction between the spacers causing the cups to loosen, freezing up the crank- I managed to fix this by greasing the contact areas. There's also the weight thing, but if you feel like never having to ever worry about your cranks, it's worth it. Despite the pinch bolts, mine occasionally come loose. They're easy enough to re-tighten.

These are really fantastic cranks for the money. Strong, strong, strong, stiff, and shiny. Performance-wise, they are flawless once you've got them set up, but that's the trick. Like the reviewer below said, once you have them working, try not to screw with them too much. Perfect for heavy and/or destructive riders who are sick of cranks loosening and bending, and don't mind an extra pound or so. -1 chili overall for the lack of directions and difficult setup, and lack of tech support on the Azonic website.
By the way, these are the exact same crank as the Kona Bulge, so get whichever one is cheapest.

Once you get these things set up don't mess with them. They are absolutely bomb proof. I have jammed these things in to rocks with hardly even so much as a scratch. I have even jacked them into a rock that was right at bottom bracket height that stopped the bike (i kept going) and they are still perfectly straight. These are a one time purchase deal. you'll never need anything else. They are heavy though. These are not for cross country bikes.
