Strengths:
Light, stiff, great warranty, unique in the USA, still available in square taper. You can get all sorts of spiders for single, duo, triple, and trials setups using the same crank arms.
Weaknesses:
Expensive
Bike Setup:
Light XC hardtail, RS-8 square taper 175mm
Bottom Line:
These are amazing cranks. I have the RS-8 arms with the duo (29/42) spider and I also have a set of RS-7 arms with the pro trials ring. The lifetime guarantee is reassuring. They are shaped so nicely that I never bang my ankles yet I get a great chainline. They are light (I saved 207g switching to these). They look incredible and there are hardly any people that you will run into with Middleburns in the USA. Pair them with a great square taper BB and you will have a combo for life.
