      Bike Setup: Downhill
      dirtjump
      freeride
Bottom Line: good chain does the trick, and i always tell my friends that my bike is so chunky for big hits it even needs a chunky chain, this being comparred to there thinner chains

Bike Setup: 2006 Kawasaki KDX2. Rock Shox Dart 2, Avid SD7 Brake set-up. SRAM 7speed TRX trigger shifters. SRAM 3.0 F Derailleur. Shimano TX71 Square Tapper BB crankset.
Bottom Line: The bike came with a stock Z51 chain that had constant slipping and was as noisy as all get out. Upgraded to the Z72S. Talk about night and day!!! The Z72S works great with my new SRAM Casette, SRAM F Derailleur. None of that "drag" feeling anymore. I am looking forward to miles and miles of smooth riding.

Bike Setup: 2002 Oryx T-line 125, EXR Bomber Fork, Hayes disc brakes
Bottom Line: The bottom line is that this chain broke after 3 months of normal use and it's overall performance is not that great. I will by shimano or sram and not kmc next time.

      FavoriteTrail: anythin that goes down.....
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
      Purchased At: Cycles Lambert
Strengths: strong. way stronger than shimano 8 and 9 spd chains i have used. tis one ain't breaking.
fast, crisp shifting. (but that's with xt 8spd shifters and and xtr rear mech :P )
Weaknesses: during crazy downhilling, mad chain slap can knock out the missing link!!!

getting a chainstay roach pad or chain guide fixes this problem
      Similar Products Tried: shimano poo.
Bike Setup: 2003 sasquatch, dj3s, truvativ hussefelts, sun doubletracks, xt hubs, xt shifters, xtr mech, lots more sick stuff. yeah baby
Bottom Line: this is the only chain is sell to my customers.

this is the only chain i use.

if you run a 7 or 8 spd cassette, this should be your chain too, if properly installed and maintained, they last.

strength is way up there. iunno about the shifting. with my setup, it always shifts great, regardless of the cassette, chain, or conditions......

      go get one. eh.

      Strengths: Hasn't broken
Weaknesses: Doesn't shift well when dirty. Much worse than shimano HG chains.
      Bike Setup: Giant DS1
Bottom Line: It came with the bike. I'll chainge it for real shimano stuff when I get a chance

Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $16
      Purchased At: LBS
Strengths: stiff, easy to install w/ the missing link system, clean shifts, no skipping
      Weaknesses: none so far
Similar Products Tried: shimano, sram pc 48
      Bike Setup: giant nrs3
Bottom Line: good chain for the money. installation was a breeze and im sure that if i NEED to get it off, it won't be a hassle, cuz i can just get another "missing link" and put it all back together again. I was getting major chain skipping problems on the sram when i cranked down full power on sprints or steep climbs, but now the chain's smooth and i can pedal w/ confidence.
