Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Price Paid:
$5.00
Purchased At:
Tychy, Poland
Strengths:
cheap.
Weaknesses:
I have 3 of these chains. The first is very noisy - even if it is lubed... The second is stretching very quickly. The third tends to have problems while shifting gears... all of them are quite used up, after circa 1500km each...
Similar Products Used:
sram pc-48
Bike Setup:
giant boulder '02 (aka. "shock f/s"), done 5000km (a whole year). using 3 chains, changing them each 500km. the drive is somewhat destroyed... ;^)
Bottom Line:
for recreation biking, less than 1000km a year - ok, could be. if anyone makes more - buy a better chain. otherwise this one will kill the drive much quicker... if using 3 chains with rotation - also - get a better chain. this model sucks bigtime. 3 chains, with 3 different characteristics, bought in the same shop, the same package, and all...

Strengths:
none, weak as piss
Weaknesses:
weak as piss, loose links after first couple rides
Bike Setup:
Mongoose wing comp
Bottom Line:
Came standard on my mongoose, and it is going to disappear real quick. I came here looking for other reviews on chains 'cause I am buyin a new one to replace this crap. Rough gear changing, kinks with a little dirt, needs constant attention, just plain awful. whay cant there be more choices of rider in the selection box, weekend warrior , cross country, downhiller, big selection guys
