Shimano 9-speed cassette. | | Bike Setup: | 1990 Cannondale SM 2000 set up for commuting. | | Bottom Line: | The second to smallest cog broke in half at less than 12 miles of regular commuting use. No reason to have broke. All I was doing was pedaling through traffic. Was not standing or pedaling very hard at all. Sent it back and got an SRAM.
Buy it if you want to walk your bike.

This is the Sram 950 in disguise. Lighter than last year's Shimmy LX. Beat up with the Sram 951 chain, and save your higher ends for racing and epics. Just a microsecond slow shifting after a creek crossing. When you learn to curse and adjust, the higher end stuff on race day is sublime!

I got this cassette + SRAM chain for $35 from Performance, and I am very happy with them. Shifting is smooth and everything just works fine.
