from Pasadena Date Reviewed: April 7, 1999 | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | these brakes stop well, look really nice, and are extremely easy to set up. They feel very nice all the time. | | Weaknesses: | They do however have two problems, first of all they howl like banshees. I know how to set up brakes, and I was not able to get these to stop screaming bloody murder, front and back. The other big problem is that because they have no noodle (a very good thing) one arm reaches over the tire, and many full suspension designs will smash into the brake arm as the wheel goes through it's travel. | | Similar Products Used: | all the shimano crap | | Bike Setup: | I put them on a Judy SL and a horst link FS bike | | Bottom Line: | nearly really cool, if your bike won't bang against them. | Overall Rating: |
