The pads suck like nothing else. Difficult to set, but when you have managed to do it they work well. I would recommend them to riders with a very low budget, but not for active XC riders. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Finland Date Reviewed: May 12, 2000 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | CHEAP!!! Stops the bike | | Weaknesses: | Lousy centering (=drag) No parallel push Not as powerful as the high-end stuff | | Similar Products Used: | Cantilevers, XT-Vs | | Bike Setup: | rigid mountainbike in city use | | Bottom Line: | They work like any other non-parallel-push-V-brake with the exception that these ones don't have that screw on the side with which it would be sooooo easy to adjust the centering. So as a result I have some constant drag. Which is not nice. If you're looking for extremely cheap brakes with V-brake power then these ones are for you. Although they're not as good as e.g. XTs I have almost endoed in a panic situation so I guess they have enough power :). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

But when I had buyed them, I was first disepointed beacouse it took two days to get them work real good. But after I did get them to work as they should they were atleast worth the price! | Overall Rating: |
