For that they didnt dissapoint, work well in the wet conditions. Durability was a problem, found I had to replace these often, even in dry conditions.

No squeaking problems here. I was very pissed off to find out that the metal plate was wearing through before the blocks on the pad were worn flat. It almost cost me a new rim. They also glaze over fairly easily, but still provide better stopping power than most. Very cheap. | | Weaknesses: | When new they can squeel considerably but a bit of riding or sandpaper can sort out that problem.
Pad compound can sometimes(rarely though,)come loose from the fixing bolt. | | Similar Products Used: | Textro V-Brake pads, Giant(own make)pads. | | Bike Setup: | Jamis Durango SX (Set up for Trials) | | Bottom Line: | I've always used Fibrax V brake pads on my rear V since I have ever had V's. Kick ass pads that last. Grip can decline in some weather conditions but they are better than most.
Buy Planet X sticky pads (V brake version) if you can, but these are a must if you can't.

Feels very solid on the brake lever but has a small lip at the trailing edge to wipe away most of the mud.

21 Orange P7 with Pace RC-36 forks and XTR Vees with XT running kit | | Bottom Line: | Good stopping power when new and for the price a bargain! If you run XT/XTR vees then you get a spare set of pads and holder for the money, if your not using replacable pads then you get a spare set of pads for the holder. As the pads are thicker than other companies pads, they should last longer - mine came in red with black pads installed in the holders - go well with my bike's logo! | | Overall Rating: |
