By the time they were worn in, they had practically worn out! I have had them less than 2 weeks and they are already 3/4 of the way down. On long descents they cease to function - VERY DANGEROUS!!! On top of the that I had to pay $ 20 per set as they were the only ones available at the local market. | | Similar Products Used: | Original Shimano pads. Makes it possible to vary pad makers (Koolstop, Ritchey etc) and save. | | Weaknesses: | None yet. | | Similar Products Used: | Shimano only | | Bike Setup: | Fisher Joshua with many upgrades. | | Bottom Line: | Good cheap pad which todate works better then LX. I suggest you monitor their wear to ensure that they do not eventually scrape your rim (XT will scrape too if you are not careful). Once original pads expire you can upgrade to Koolstop replacement pads (cheap option). Makes sense. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
