Bottom Line:I bought these levers out of necessity when my LX v leavers broke, and I didn't have much money. But having put them through hell I cant see any reason to complain and wouldn't swap them for anything.

Bottom Line:

Cheap levers don't come better than this. My PC7exa's feel good, work fine, look decent, have adjustable cable pull (do you complainers realize that?) and have survived some way bad crashes--one of which broke my GripShift, but the levers were just a little scratched. Can't be beat for the price, and if you spend more, you'll just get cooler looks and slighty less weight, not better performance.

Bottom Line:

I got these for about 26 bucks from Performance, and have used them for a good year and a half w/ XT and LX- Vs. They do a good job of pulling enough cable, which can be adjusted, and feels alright. This is a perfect 2 finger lever, even with twist shifters. There is, though, a little bit of slop that can't be fix, even by tightening the bolt under the lever, but you really don't notice it while riding. Otherwise I have no problems with it. At this price range, there are only the LX, which I hear are too too short, and the Tektros, and I believe these are the best among them. In short, this is a good funtioning lever ofr the price.

Bottom Line:

I have tried to keep an open mind about these levers, allowing time for them to get worn in and fix the little problems, but after nearly a year, these suck big time. They just don't work at all if they get mud in them and constantly need adjusting. I originally broke the first set on my first ride, so I sent them back and got some new ones, which I'm using now. I doubt that they pull nearly enough cable - you'd be better leaning over and pressing two wet sponges on the sides of the rim for all the power and feedback you get. I've tried using LX, XTand Avid SD 1.0 levers and they work fine with my brake calipers. These levers are simply S**T.

Bottom Line:

Have had this lever for about six months now combined with LX. They work
satisfactory, look OK and have sort of nice solid feel to them. I suppose they could pull a bit more cable. Just bought a new bike with Avid 1.0 and I would go for the Avid's if I had to choose. They r lighter and more robust as far as I can tell. Haven't put the Avid's through hell yet though.

Bottom Line:

These levers came standard on my bike, even though Avid SD 1.0 L's were specified. I put up with them because they looked OK, but I now wish I'd got the Avid's. The lever is very comfortable but the action is dead and very rough. The good looks also disappear very quickly - they scratch and show up scrapes immediately. I can live with them as standard equipment but would not advise anyone else to buy them. Save up for Avid's or XT.

Wow, what a lever dude! I use XTR V's with these baby's and they work great. PERFECTO FEEL, LIGHT, NICE STICKER, SHINY, COLD IN THE WINTER, TWO COULORS, WARM IN THE SUMMER< PULLS THE CABLE, MAKES THE BRAKE HIT RIM FIRMLY!!! TONS OF GRIP, COOL ADJSUTER< HARD TO GET CABLE OUT, PEOPLE LOOK AT THEM AS YOU RIDE BY, ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Bottom Line:

Let's face it - it's a budget lever. It's ugly, sloppy, and not built to last. But for the weekend enthusiast, though, it's an excellent choice, particularly for those of us with big paws. It's easy to grip, pulls a lot of cable - my XT-V's work great with them. I've since moved the PC7's to my city beater in favor of the ESP levers, but I still feel that for under $25 they're an excellent investment for the casual rider who wants a high-end feel for low-end price.

I have got these now no my Giant ATX 880. It comae stock on the bike. To be honest with you I was not too sure on the name or quality. But after riding them for 5 months I now realize they're great. If your in the LX/XT price range I suggest these baby's because they're
bigger (your fingers won't slip) and for a good price

Bottom Line:

These levers are abit bulky but are nice for the price. I do recomend using them with Dia-compe brakes also. Compared to the cheap flimsy LX levers these are great. They are in great shape after miles of use. For my first V-brake set, I am happy. I will stick with Dia-compe.

I've had these levers for three months now and I've had nothing but problems with them. They work terrible with my LX brakes.

Bottom Line:

I've had these levers on four different bikes, for a total of over 3000 miles, without one single problem. They are not the prettiest or the lightest (they are not the heaviest either) but they work. I really don't need CNC machined or anodized chi chi levers, especially if they cost over 100 dollors more. I got my last pair for 20 bucks on sale. For that price you can't go wrong.

Bottom Line:

I have these levers on my stock trials bike and they work well. One of the levers is a year old and the other is brand new, the old one has no more play than the new one, they are work, they're cheap, and with a little whitelightning the leverage dial actually works.

Bottom Line:

I snapped these levers after a good month of serious riding. I will never
buy anything by Dia-crap again that has to do with brakes. I would rather
use some 10$ Tektro Canti levers then these things. Go with Precision Billet or
XTR levers they are well worth it

Bottom Line:

I've had experience with these levers with both diacomp V-brakes and shimano LX V-brakes and they feel totally different with both. My only complaints about the lever is that of it's cheap plastic structure, it's play in the actual lever. I do find it does the job well once your out on the trail, but I will one day upgrade.

Bottom Line:

Crap,Crap,Crap, that is the only way I can describe these levers. They don't pull the cable fast enough, so what you end up with is you have the lever pulled in half way and then the brakes lock up. Me personaly am going to LX or XT levers. That is all.

I had these levers on my new KHS Summit. They worked generally fine but lacked the solid feel of a non-V canti Tektro I used to have.

A friend bought these for me to compliment my VC-747 brakes. While I don't use them anymore (switched to Speed Dial's), I can say
they're a GREAT lever for the buck! Very durable, look nice (silver/grey...you can call it boring but I like it). These levers are very adjustable. Not just three positions like many of the other brakes, more like a speed dial without the dial. They work with v-brakes as levers for v-brakes should.I'd suggest these for people who are buying LX v-brakes that don't want to use the LX levers because they get poor reviews. One grip about these levers is that they seemed heavy to me. It says above 132 grams. That's got to be for one lever and not the pair. Still, a worthy MTB product, especially if you are on budget.
