| FavoriteTrail: | watchung(well, used to be. . .) |
| Duration Product Used: | 1 Year |
| Strengths: | strong, light, does its job incredibly well |
| Weaknesses: | doesnt look as nice as some other boosters in my opinion |
| Similar Products Tried: | magura boosters |
| Bike Setup: | xc and just ridin around |
| Bottom Line: | the tektro boosters are fantastic at what they are supposed to to. i havent gotten to use any of the various carbon fibre braces available, but of the few al and steel ones i have tried(although i only own these and the magura steel ones)these are the best. they are less expensive than the maguras, they weigh less, and they are more rigid. theres a no-brainer if you ask me! its a great product, if you ride maggies, you havent really been using them till you throw a set of tektro's on top of 'em. |

|
| Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month |
| Strengths: |
-Very stiff (6061 T6 alloy) -Very light (28.2g) -Increases stopping power while reducing frame flex. -Tons O' braking power. |
| Weaknesses: |
-Requires readjusting of the brakes for proper fit. -Tons O' braking power. -Is there such a thing as too much power? I doubt it. |
| Bike Setup: |
Mrazek frame, Manitou FS-Ti Palmer. Flex completely dissapeared after installation. |
| Bottom Line: | This is a great product. They're 1.8g lighter than the 30g Magura alloy boosters (no big difference), but cost $10 less, each. In my opinion, they also look better, with a cool textured surface. Definitely a must-have, if you don't mind re-setting-up your Maguras (AAARRRGGGHHH!!!). |
