from Mill Valley, CA Date Reviewed: July 7, 1999 | | Favoriate Trail: | Homestead Trail | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | Handbuilt by Steve Potts. 140 mm rear axle to minimize friction for new 8 and nine speed drive trains. Bomb proff. | | Weaknesses: | None that i know of. Any weakness would be from the components you decide to put on the bike becasue the bike is perfect. | | Similar Products Used: | Jamis Dakar, Specialized M4, Santa Cruz Heckler, Kona Sex 3, Trek 6000. | | Bike Setup: | Phoenix frame, with full XT and WTB. 97 Z-2. WTB momentum hubs on laser rims w/ WTB stokes and nipples. Titec hellbent 1.5 rise. Titec bezerkr, etc. | | Bottom Line: | This bike will last me until i die. It hasn't given me a problem yet and probably never will. Exept for my shimano components that will break down in a couple years. They are supposed to do that you know. So you have to spend a fortune to get new ones. Anyway if you want anymore info on the bike e-mail me and i will send you ever bit of information i can give you about it. Its a great bike. | Overall Rating: |
