a Downhiller
from Montreal Date Reviewed: April 25, 1999 | | Favoriate Trail: | Anything with a slope | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Great frame Absolutely fan-freaking-tastic brakes Good grip Great tires | | Weaknesses: | Not the best derailleurs. (But still good for the money ! )The shocks are a little harsh | | Similar Products Used: | GT Saddleback Norco Scrambler Raleigh 50 | | Bike Setup: | Stock with Deore LX derailleurs and Magura brakes. | | Bottom Line: | For the money its worth two times more ! I just can't say enough about the stock brakes. It's also a beautiful bike and that Iron Horse logo looks great. After I pretzeled my Scrambler down a rock ladden path this bike is a welcome piece of machine. If I could I would give 6 stars. By the way, its pretty hard to find in US so look for it in Canada. Its cheaper there too ! | Overall Rating: |
