$300.00 | | Purchased At: | Schwin Bike Store, Long Island Ny | | Strengths: | Has very smooth shifting. Light, very soild bike. Paint has never chiped. Has good balance for going down hills. It rides perfectly, I have had it for 6 years. Gary Fisher makes a good bike. The tires keep their tread and brakes are good. | | Weaknesses: | The saddle is a little rough at first after long rides. I wish it has front shocks...the front of the bike will jerk a little bit when riding over bumps and rocks. Could be a little lighter. | | Similar Products Used: | Trek 3200 | | Bottom Line: | If you have one of these bikes, you should upgrade and get a new saddle and front suspension. Bottom Line...Gary Fisher makes a solid good bike for off-roading or road. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | Street dealer | | Strengths: | I found the product to have a nice solid ride. It had easy switch gear trains, and durability. Enjoyable powerful ride, just like a fine automobile. | | Weaknesses: | The rear gear train seems messed up though I might be able to adjust it. It doesn't seem to hit 7th gear in 7th it just hits 6th. I'm gonna see if I could manually adjust the mechanism. No shocks on it, I see shock bikes around; they look cool. | | Similar Products Used: | I rode ten speeds, GT Properformer, GT and mongoose racing bikes of all varietys. Various other mountain and racing bikes even redline and Giant.
| | Bike Setup: | It's just a standard setup I guess, it has the 21 speeds. And the average gear didn't see anything special on it. | | Bottom Line: | It's a good bike, I paid $20 for it to help out an Italian immigrant make some phone calls I guess. Who's money and passport was stolen. He wanted more but I got a good deal.
It's very sturdy good for long rides, stable. If I had went to a store to buy a bike though. I would buy something more hytech looking. This bike looks too normal for me.

$289.00 | | Purchased At: | Cycle Loft | | Strengths: | fairly light weight, durable, accurate rear derailer, the only lower end mountain bike that came in orange. | | Weaknesses: | hand grips, the front derailer needs improvement. | | Similar Products Used: | Specialized Hard Rock, Trek 860. | | Bottom Line: | For the price this is a good solid, durable bike. I ride about a 1000 miles a season both on and off road, and this bike is capable in both settings. Basically I have beaten on this bike for 2 years and it is still ready for more. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

It is also made by the inventor of mountain bikes! | | Weaknesses: | Quill stem, lack of chainguard. | | Similar Products Used: | Other bikes! | | Bike Setup: | At the time of writing, I have recently fitted an RST Gamma TL 2000 fork on it. | | Bottom Line: | This is a very good bike for the money, with components that are sometimes found on bikes twice the price of this. If you want a high performing bike and don't mind the rigid fork then this would be a very good buy. | Overall Rating: |
