from Los Angeles Date Reviewed: August 6, 2000 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Strengths: | I've used my '96 Fisher X-caliber for all types of racing from cross country to single track and some down hill. The frame kicks ass. The chromoly climbs well, yet is forgiving and flexes with the trail on decents. I love the grip shift x-rays, no problems with them for the last 5 years. The componenets are ultra-durable, i bought this bike for $1400 and it has been worth every dollar. | | Weaknesses: | Replaced the seat after a big crash. but other than that no other complaints. | | Similar Products Used: | specialized A1 stumpjumper, Klein Pulse Comp | | Bottom Line: | Awesome all around bike for singletrack, long climbs and steep downhills. A must have for hard-tail lovers! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
