Submitted by Dalton a Weekend Warrior from Ringgold, GA, USA
    Date Reviewed: March 28, 2008
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $20.00
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:Affordable, Available, Look nice
    Weaknesses:Slick
Similar Products Used:Factory cheap ones that would turn on the bars
    Bike Setup:Specialized Hardrock
Bottom Line:These are a nice product, but when riding bare handed (as I do 90% of the time) they can be slick. They aren't as light as some I have held, but bar ends are really a big area of concern for that now, are they?

    Date Reviewed: September 28, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $17.00
    Purchased At:blueskycycling.com
    Strengths:Short, one piece design, cheap.
Weaknesses:They might be a little bit narrow for some people.
    Bike Setup:Raleigh M 40
Bottom Line:These are cheap, they are short and the are solid. If you are looking for some bar ends that aren't $50 and you just want a decent, functional bar end these are it. They seem a little bit narrow. I am fine with them but they aren't real beefy like some ends I've seen.

Submitted by Jeff a Weekend Warrior from Winnipeg, MB, Canada
    Date Reviewed: June 7, 2003
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $20.00
    Purchased At:Olympia Cycle & Ski
    Strengths:One piece, strong, light weight.
    Weaknesses:none
Similar Products Used:Giant bar ends.....they broke.
Bike Setup:2003 Norco Bushpilot, bar ends, upgraded to aluminum pedals, & toe clips.
    Bottom Line:Nice bar ends....strong 1 piece design.

I bought the Titec Shorties as an upgrade to the Giant bar ends that I originally bought. The Giant bar ends broke after one day of use...b/c they are 2 piece and the glue holding them together failed.

Go with a 1 piece design!

The Titec bar ends are nice.
