    Favorite Trail:As long as i'm riding..who cares
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $1649.00
    Purchased At:Randall Scott
Strengths:No complaints really. Everything from the bike feeling super solid, good uphill climbing and good downhill capabilities, durable components, it's all there. It's perfect weight so u don't get bobble on the back end on downhill trails like u would with lighter bikes. All around i've been super happy with it and haven't had any problems at all (i've been riding alot since i've gotten it too.)
Weaknesses:Maybe an upgraded fork if u wanted, but that's always the case it seems like.
Similar Products Used:None. Been happy with Iron Horse Bikes and gonna stick with em.
Bike Setup:Stock setup from randall scott. only added a blackspire stinger chain tensioner so the chain would have another device to stop it from slippin off on any gnar trails, peaty lizard skin grips, odyssey cielencki platform pedals.
Bottom Line:I'll i can say is that it has taken a beating thus far and still works like a champ. aside from a basic tune here and there, ya know. I don't think u will be disappointed in what u get with it, especially for the price and it does what it's supposed to do just great..aggressive all-mountain riding. The bike gives u the options of course to upgrade it more so which adds to its appeal. I've heard people complain about the weight being whatever it is, like 37 lbs or somethin, if ur not a complete puss then it's not an issue at all.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Purchased At:Free Riden
Strengths:Great plush ride, climbs well. Good components, takes a the rugged stuff sweet.
Weaknesses:Crank cames loose after 2 rides, took it back to dealer & they sorted it straight away, no hassle. Rear hub jammed a bit, once again sorted immediatly. No problems since.
    Similar Products Used:Kona Dawg Deluxe
Bike Setup:Stock, other than brake upgrade to Avid Codes
Bottom Line:I really love this bike. It's great to ride, easier than my Kona to pedal. DW link is sweet. Other than a few teething problems it runs really well.

    Favorite Trail:HAROLD PARKER
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $1900.00
    Purchased At:EMS 07'
Strengths:Great DW link rear suspension. Point and go. The Hayes Brakes will stop you as needed.
Weaknesses:Stock FSA crank bent on first rock. Heavier for long up hills. Timberwolf 2.5s very aggressive for any XC
    Similar Products Used:Specialized Stumpjumper
Bike Setup:RaceFace Diabolus Crank. Maxxis Minion DH 2.3 Front and Rear
Bottom Line:Great bike to get on and go. Heavier than other bikes but....holds up to punishment. Easy to work on. Its too bad IH has abandoned the LBS. My next bike likely to be Yeti ASR-7, 575 or Trek Session 88 FR or Remedy 9.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $3100.00
    Purchased At:evanscycles.com
Strengths:The bike is absolutely sick! The dw-link ensures that climbing is cool. The frame geometry is very accurate to flat riding. Descending is completely insane! The bike is way better than the rider atm!
    Weaknesses:None till now
Similar Products Used:this is my first real bike
Bike Setup:stock setup.. just changed the pedals to platform
Bottom Line:I'm definitely surprised with the bike performance. I'm pretty sure I could use it to DH racing! Anyway, it is an all-around bike very stable and precise. I would recommend it to everyone!

    Favorite Trail:anywhere fast!
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $2600.00
    Strengths:Ride,reasuring handling,quite light,paint job,rare bought for £1300 for a 2007 model.much better in black!!

Weaknesses:Shock stuck down about 2 minutes into my first ride.was sent back to mojo in uk for warrenty and got a quick 2 day turn around, been fine since.crank a bit flimsy and needed loctiteing.stem a bit long, brakes pretty wooden.sheared tooth off cassette
    Similar Products Used:Orange 7+,Giant Glory
    Bike Setup:Marzzocchi 66 sl ata's.Hope 70mm stem,Funn fatboy bars,Thomsom layback post,sram PG990 cassette & PC991 chain,Middleburn 36T ring,Maxxis Highrollers supertacky
Bottom Line:I really am impressed with this bike. After the initial shock problem my first impressions were how flickable this bike was.I could move it around pretty much where i wanted to.Much of this was probably coming from the Glory to this. Not Having as much weight under me and not being able to plough through everything has made my rideing more fun and its probably getting the skill levels up aswell.
I did change the forks after a few rides though, not because they were poor but because i'm a bit of a bruiser and also wanted the adjustability of the 66's.Also changed the stem and quickened up the steering a bit.
I have not long got back from a long weekend in Scotland where we rode everything from the Ae forest to an uplift day at Innerleithen to the bike park in Glentress and the bike was fantastic for all of it.Great for a bit of uphill and amazing for the downs.I really think unless you are racing then 6 ish inches is more than enough for the UK.
Oh and if you manage to get it half price like me then all the better!!

Bottom Line:Great bike exept for the pedal arms because they bend easily...... other than that this bike is great i can do the big stuff but i can pedal up hills and ride around the neighborhood. Awsome bike overall if you want a hill climber that can take the hits get this bike!!!

Submitted by Jeff a Weekend Warrior from Vancouver, BC

Favorite Trail:Just about anything on the shore
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $1699.00
    Strengths:DW-Link - enough said.
But there is more the frame is very stiff with the 12 x 150 rear spacing, frame is pretty light, the paint on the
6.4 is very impressive (black with pearl - 2007 model). Clean and simple lines - very nice looking.
Weaknesses:Mine was the 6.4 so some of the components were a lower spec that what I like. Got the bike from 2007 close out for a good deal with expectation to upgrade right way, so not even a weakness.
    Similar Products Used:Nomad, 7 Point, VP-Free, Reign
Bike Setup:Stock 6.4, upgrades include Roco Air TST R, 66 RC2X, Juicy 7s, X-9 shifters, Stinger dual chain guide, Mavic 721's with Hadley hub.
Bottom Line:Wow, no reviews as yet, so I though I would add this even though I only have a couple of rides on the bike.

As mentioned above, got a good deal from RS Cycle on 2007 closeout. My intention was to transfer what I could from my current ride to the 6Point and then add as required. The bike is pretty much complete now and hope to get more rides in and get it dialled a little better as well.

The initial impression is excellent. With the DW-Link and the Roco Air on the back this bike at minimum equalls my Nomad (which had the coil on it) in terms of the ability to take bumps and overall ride. It also seems to have an advantage in the pedalling department, even with the TST R wide open. With TST set at firm, this totally moves out.

In terms of looks, the Nomad, which in my opinion is a very sweet bike, still takes a back seat to the lines of the 6 Point. The paint on the 2007 6.4 is equally amazing. You don't really notice how nice it is when looking at a picture, but if you see one in person you will understand.

Looking forward to getting some time on this ride and seeing what I can do on this wonderful machine.

I have built my bike up more toward freeride, but this bike looks to be able to handle everything from XC to FR and everything in between, it just depends on how you want to spec it out.
