| Strengths: | Steel Bead for tubeless use. |
| Weaknesses: | slippery on wet roots and rocks |
| Similar Products Tried: | wtb motorapter kevlar bead. |
| Bike Setup: | 2005 SURLY KARATE MONKEY with BONTRAGER RACE 29 WHEELSET with Stans'Notubes rim strips and sealant. |
| Bottom Line: | Had kevlar bead that broke so I switched to wire bead for tubeless use as recommended on STANS' NOTUBES WEBSITE.Rolls well and is good for most xc use.I was used to riding Kenda Nevegals on a 26" bike .These tires will slip on wet rocks and roots unlike the Nevagals.Motorapters do pretty well climbing in loose conditions. |
