Submitted by Stefan Griebel a Cross Country Rider from Boulder, CO, 80303
      Date Reviewed: 12/21/2006 12:05:33 PM
      FavoriteTrail: The Colorado Trail
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
      Price Paid: $35
      Purchased At: Bicycle Village, Boulder
      Strengths: Great for damp conditions.
Weaknesses: Not as grippy as you'd think for a tire this knobby
Similar Products Tried: Bontrager Jones ACX, Kenda Klaw XT, Exiwolves, Nanoraptors, Conti Vertical Pro
Bike Setup: Mooto-X YBB with a Maverick SC-32
Bottom Line: I've only ridden this tire on the front, and I expected the side knobs to allow me to rip around the sandy corners much better than the Exiwolves. On the contrary, these tires seemed to slip out even more in the loose corners. However, if the terrain was moist/damp these tires stuck like glue without picking up a lot of mud.
