| Bottom Line: | This tire is the dog's bollocks. I caught them on sale at Unicycle.com for 25 bucks each. You can throw the bike into corners and the big side lugs will bite into the soil like it ain't no thang. Not any worries of washing out unless you're really pushing it. This tire inspires confidence! |

| Bottom Line: | All the usual good and less of the bad you typically hear about this tire. I ride a lot of rocky and more technical singletrack so the tire gave me much more confidence on a single speed. They never even considered loosing traction while out of the saddle on steep climbs and they corner like you are in a slot car on a track. Yes, they are slower than the Kharma LR3 Pro, which I use on smooth and when I race, but I never worry or think twice about traction with these and that is important to someone 200+ trying to corner and climb in loose trail detritus! One last thought...the 29" wheels make these feel far less sluggish than the 2.35 Nevergo I had on my 26" trail bike. |

| Strengths: | Traction is amazing. Grips like mad. Beefy sidewalls. Large volume helps float over rogh stuff and enables lower pressures. |
| Weaknesses: | Weight and togh to get rolloing at low speeds(but you knew that already). I was willing to live with that until I ripped three lugs clean off the rear tire on a particularly rocky ride, with an additional 2-3 lugs still hanging on by a few threads of rubber. The soft side lugs are definitely not meant for places with sharp-ish rocks, so beware. |

| Bottom Line: | these tires are awesome if you dig traction and are willing to live with the weight penalty. Just be careful when riding rocky terrain (smooth rocks/rock faces OK, sharp-edged rocks, no good...your side lugs will be toast in no time). |

| Bottom Line: | The Kenda's been a great, confidence inspiring front tire. Much better then the Exi I had been running before up front. It may not be a quick rolling tire, but the trade-off is some serious grip in the front, and I'll make that trade for a front tire on the One9. Have not run the tire in the rear however, so I cannot give any advivce on that front. |

| Bottom Line: | This was my first time on a 29er I was certainly impressed by these tires. They seemed to grip no matter what I was doing. However after a couple of months I felt bogged down for the type of fast xc riding I do. Since then switched to faster rolling tires. Still, every time the rear tire slips on a climb, or the front tire breaks free on a loose corner, I miss them. |

| Bottom Line: | I bought these for my winter tires for traction, but have used them all year so far because of the added cushion due to the large air volume on my hardtail and the awesome traction in nearly all conditions. I run them at higher pressures (45-50 psi) than I usually do to decrease the drag and they have performed flawlessly. The only drawback so far at high pressure is some skidding on highspeed hardpack, which I expected. They have worked well in snow, mud,sand,rocks and most hardpack. |

| Bottom Line: | They slowed me down so much that I removed them after one ride. They take too much effort to get up to speed, and the increased rolling resistance is noticable. They seem like an excellent tire for hooking up on challenging conditions, but they're too sluggish to be practical. But maybe a tire should be compared against it's intended purpose, so I don't want to slam them too hard. They may be the perfect for certain riders in certain conditions. |

| Bottom Line: | These tire are the real deal for all out traction. I find it very difficult get these tires to break free unless of course you use your brakes. The feeling of throwing the bike into a corner and knowing that it is going to stick is impressive. They don't roll fast like the others said, but I'll take traction over rolling resistance anyday. |

Very comforting to look down and see this meaty beast on the front wheel. Love it...but see weeknesses above. This, combined with a Resolution out back, is the first time I've felt the supposed "slow acceleration" of 29er lore. |

| Bottom Line: | This tire is the mutts nuts. It has grip in spades, especially when cranked hard into the bends. It hangs on really well, those big side knobs haul you through the corners like a tractor. Fantastic traction in 99% of trail conditions. If this tire has a weakness it is only in the fact that it is a bit slower rolling on hard surfaces than some others, but that is a very small price to pay for the grip it gives. I've tried this tire under all types of conditions except snow, and it has been exceptionally reliable and very very good. The casing is tough yet supple, it gives a nice smooth ride and abrasions from rocks don't seem to worry it. Overall, this is my favourite 29'er tire right now. Bottom line? If you want incredible grip and fantastic traction, buy them. R. |
