| Strengths: | This fork is a great fork for XC riders with the 120mm suspensions. Very Stiff when it needs to be but soaks up the bumps instead of your power. |
| Weaknesses: | None |
| Similar Products Tried: | 08 Talas RLC, SID Team 00,02,04,06 (Yes I was a big fan of Sids's, 05 Manitou Skarub Platinum<-crap! |
| Bike Setup: | Stumpjumper FSR Pro, XTR throughout, American Classic Wheelset with Stans and Maxxis Larson TT tires |
| Bottom Line: | I bought a Talas to use with this bike thinking I would like to be able to switch from the 100mm for climbing and 140mm for down hilling. Found the change in geometry from 120mm to 100mm to great and my knees where in front of the pedal spindles so I quit using the adjust. Why carry they extra weight so I traded a guy for his F120 RLC and have been putting miles of single track with gravel roads to rock gardens that would flex most other forks, especially RS Sids. This fork holds a line and rails corners like no other fork, no rebound or chatter. I only use the lock out when I stand to pedal, this is more often to stretch my back and with the adjustable blow off no worries if I forget it on. I used to think it was high priced but I paid less than >$600 for the Talas and traded straight across for the F120. A bargain compared to other forks at a higher price point |

| Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month |
| Purchased At: | MTBR Classifieds |
| Strengths: | lateral stiffness, buttery action, highly tunable, tracks extremely well in all trail conditions (small chatter to big hits). |
| Weaknesses: | can never get full travel without making the fork sag too much |
| Similar Products Tried: | Black, F100RLT, F100R, Talas RLC |
| Bike Setup: | XL Titus RX100, X9 shifters/derailuers, BB7 brakes, TI Levers, XTR 960 Crank, Thomson stem and post, Truvative Carbon bars, King/Sun wheels, WTB Rcoket SLT |
| Bottom Line: | Best off the shelf Fox fork Ive used. I have only seen them perform better after being Pushed. This is the first un-modified Fox Fork that I have seen hold oil (better seals?). Without excessive sag, I can not seem to get that last inch of travel but the fork is working very well so far. It seems to be an all around, improved generation of Fox Fork. |

| FavoriteTrail: | Gooseberry Mesa |
| Duration Product Used: | 3 months |
| Price Paid: | $665 |
| Purchased At: | Jenson USA |
| Strengths: | Ability to hold or change a line in the midst of a corner. It soaks up the small trail "junk" to the bigger debris that used to through me off line. Because of the air spring it has linear compression so it doesn't bottom & stop the wheel. V-brake compatible! Yea FOX! |
| Weaknesses: | Dust Scrapers are hard to get out for cleaning. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Marzocchi MX Pro w/ Lock out |
| Bike Setup: | Titus Switchblade with SRAM XO twistgrip. Avid V-Brakes to keep it simple & light! Kenda Nevegal 2.5 in the front for the rocks. |
| Bottom Line: | These forks are not $400 better than the zokes but they are much better when it matters. In rock gardens, especially when the rocks are solid, you can charge through because of the linear dampening. They hold a line and you always feel in control. If the zokes were set up to soak up the small stuff then they would compress too much in these situations and throw off the geometry and sometimes almost stop the wheel. They don't soak up the small stuff as good as the zokes did but they do everything else so much better that it is a small trade-off. They are easily tuned on the trail and you can make changes as the terrain changes to suit the different riding. Also in higher speed situations when you get the rebound set correctly the chatter is eliminated and you can see much better! For someone who rides alot in varying types of terrain these will put a big smile on your face. |

| Strengths: | light, light, light, quiet, quiet, quiet u can't hear it at all. also it's the same price as the 100mm. my fork is still kinda stiff i haven't gotten really broken in yet. the color is really nice it stands out on the trail. also i am very pleased with jenson service. they shiped my fork in no time at all. also they give free shipping with forks and you get a free race face head set. even though the paint is white it is thick, and it dont' show scratches, but dirt is a different storie. |
| Weaknesses: | well if you don't own a computer and this is your first fork, your screwed setting it up, because all the instructions is on a computer cd rom. also you got to play on the computer with the cd rom for a hour or so to find your way to the section of pumping the fork, air pressure, sag, damping. i kinda would expecting more ease of understanding from a high grade fork. i don't know how fox is on warranty and service. |
| Similar Products Tried: | this is my first fork. |
| Bike Setup: | iron horse warrior hardtail with xt components |
| Bottom Line: | you can't beat it, it's light, quiet, looks good and it does it's job and does it well. i haven't got my fork broken in yet so it's still lil stiff. i went to the nationals at sugar mountain in north carolina about 95% of riders had this fork. |
