      Duration Product Used: 3 months
Strengths: 20mm Axle, Super Plush and probably the smoothest fork i've ever felt once it is set up right. All the knobs are really low key and burley so they dont get in the way of anything. The 08 is really light for what it is
Weaknesses: None really, I guess I thought it wasn't that great before i set it up right but now its total butter
Similar Products Tried: Fox 32 RLC, Fox F100
Bike Setup: Giant Reign 0: 36 RC2, Mavic Crossmax SX wheels, Avid Juicy 7's and all the other parts that came on the bike
Bottom Line: This fork is great for any type of rider. Weather your doin long climbs, descending or both this thing soaks it all up. Its a real confidence booster to have those 36mm stanchions and the stiffness and reliability of the fork. I highly recommend you get this fork if your debating weather or not to get it. You wont be disappointed.

      Duration Product Used: 3 months
      Purchased At: woodcock cycle
Strengths: plush, 20mm through axle, heavy duty knobs and dials, looks great, Fox quality
Weaknesses: compression dials do not make much difference but the fork fells great with them both at the factory setting(1)
Similar Products Tried: z1 freeride, pike
Bike Setup: 2008 giant reighn x0 sram, avid, raceface, kenda, wtb,
Bottom Line: This is a great top of the line fork for the rider who likes to ride uphill, but likes to go down even more. It is symple the plushest and most smooth fork you will ever feel. Buy this fork if you are an aggressive all mountain rider who is looking for a fork with a little more travel than the usuall all mountain fork.

Strengths: Very strong and stiff with the thru axle, plush, responsive. Adjustable compression
Weaknesses: Not as good traction as a coil sprung fork. The advances this year in damping make it almost pointless difference especialy with the weight and adjustability advantage
Similar Products Tried: Z1, Float 32.
Bike Setup: Giant Reign X0, xo/x9, pimplites on pro2s, formula oro biancos, deity crank, e.thirteen SRS. and more great stuff.
Bottom Line: These are just plain brilliant. I've only been for a few ride but can take everthing ive thrown at them whether its loose rocks or 8 foot drops. You can get perfect rebound from the adjuster and they're light enought to jump and get big air. though expensive at retail if you can find them anywhere cheaper go for it. If not take the Rs and you wont be dissapointed.

Bike Setup: This fork bolted up to the best frame in the world with the best parts money can buy hanging off of it.

Strengths: FOX out-did themselves this time. This fork is absolutely awesome. I have always been a Marzocchi fan, but ever since Marzocchi announced that there Italian made fork's will be made in (((China)))I had to drop them. FOX put there engineer's to work to make, in my opinion the lightest, stiffest, most well rounded all mountain/free-ride/cross-country fork ever. The FOX 36 with its new 20mm skewer quick-release is yet an other remarkable plus. I can take my front wheel off nearly as fast as the non-20 mm skewers I used to have. You are not going to get any complaints from me on this product. FOX is proud of there fork's and there $$$expensive$$$ but you get what you pay for and FOX is American made. Thats all I needed to know. I posted some pic's of my baby! She rides like a Cadillac!!! Enjoy! http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6555637
      Weaknesses: NONE!
Similar Products Tried: Marzocchi All mountain one 160 mm??? Puke!
Bike Setup: 2005 Ellsworth Moment, 2008 FOX float 36, XTR rear derailuer, XTR front deraileur, XTR crank-set, Chris King head set, Thompson elite stem, 2008 Hope hydralic brakes, odi lock/hand grips, Easton Monkey lite XC handlebars carbon fiber, FOX DHX 5.0 rear shock, Mavic Crossmax XL's wheels, Mavic Ignitor tubless tires, thompson seat-post, wtb rocket-v saddle, salsa quick-release.
Bottom Line: If you want the best, then by this product. Word's to the wise (something I have learned myself) If you really want it- then GET IT!!! Dont settle for less, cuzz as soon as you do settle for less..... You will not be satisfied, especially when your out riding and you see someone else with the fork you really wanted. Then your gonna kick yourself in the arse!!!!! :)
