      FavoriteTrail: Monarch Crest Trail
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
      Purchased At: OEM
Strengths: torsionally stiff, sucks up the rough, feels bottomless
Weaknesses: pedals like a marshmallow, travel adjustment and rebound are ineffective, needs stiffer springs and cant find them
Similar Products Tried: sherman flicks, shiver sc
Bike Setup: Jamis Komodo.hussefelt cranks bars and stem, hayes nine discs 203mm ft 160 rear, sun singletrack rims
Bottom Line: great fork for aggressive riding and dropping but needs to be stiffer as you cannot jump this thing without a well set up take off, just soaks up the lip

      FavoriteTrail: DC Streets
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Purchased At: Pedal Pushers - Severna Park, MD
Strengths: Steering is responsive, amoun of travel, adjustable travel, adjustable rebound, 20mm axle
Weaknesses: 20mm axle attachement - a QR would be a nice feature due to how often I drive to ride, non-adjustable compression
      Similar Products Tried: none
Bike Setup: Jamis Komodo - all factory w/ 2.4 Holy Rollers.
Bottom Line: The Komodo is my first dirt/street/jump specific bike. The fork is great but it is too soft for someone like myself who is 200+ lbs. It soaks up hits well but gets bouncy when you start to hammer. It also dives when you're hard on the brakes. I'm not sure if it can be stiffened up; I hope it can since I don't want to swap forks.

Strengths: Great. Nice and plush - plenty o travel.
Weaknesses: Needed to get them stiffened, they came a bit soft on mine
Similar Products Tried: Fox 40s, Marzocchi DJ4s
      Bike Setup: GT i-Drive 7 ruckus 3.0
Bottom Line: Pretty good, needs to be stiffer.
