      Date Reviewed: 4/10/2008 10:06:08 PM
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $109
      Purchased At: Pro Service Cyclery
Strengths: The air dial that's it....
Weaknesses: It is too weak for MTB. The Steering Tube was Cut in Half during i was trail riding, and it cause me a serious accident down the trail.
Similar Products Tried: I can't think of one...
Bike Setup: All Shimano Deore components, hardtail bike, lizard skin moab,Truvativ X-flow, Sram PC-48
Bottom Line: I will not reccomend this product because of what happen to me will happen to others. Never, Never, Never buy this product.

      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Strengths: easy to adjust, good looking, not so heavy. it didn`t broken yet after my little abuses!
Weaknesses: good only for joy riding! sucks for fast riding, jumping. not tuff enoght for anything aggrasive.
      Similar Products Tried: none
      Bike Setup: mongoose otero elite
Bottom Line: cheap fork, don`t expect mirecales. it came with the bike and now i thinking of changing it to something more tuff (may be tora 289 or 318). if it came with the bike you can use it for a while, but i would change it as quick as possible.

Submitted by Will a Cross Country Rider from Anchorage, AK
      Date Reviewed: 7/31/2007 2:13:40 PM
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $99
      Purchased At: Bicycle Shop
Strengths: Suitable for riding on gravel roads and paved paths.
Weaknesses: Not tough enough for anything other than the occasional crack.
Bike Setup: Old specialized hard tail.
Bottom Line: This is an update to my previous review about 3 weeks ago. The bottom half separated from the top today while I was riding some single track during lunch. Considering they haven't seen anything much rougher than curbs and rooty single track, I am really disgusted. As other reviewers have said, these are junk.

      Duration Product Used: 6 months

      Strengths: Adjustable rebound.Good handling.
      Weaknesses: none yet.
Similar Products Tried: Rockshox Jett c
      Bike Setup: Mongoose Otero Elite
Bottom Line: Ive ridden on some pretty good trails and jumped with it.It soaked up everything and the adj rebound helps the front tire stick to the trail or rock.I agree with some of the other reviews about weight,if your over 180 look for something stiffer. It seems a little mooshy "soft" and im just pushin 155.So far so good,I like it, YeeeHaaaa!!!!

Submitted by Will a Cross Country Rider from Anchorage, AK USA
      Date Reviewed: 7/4/2007 4:48:41 PM
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
      Price Paid: $99
      Purchased At: Local Bike Shop
Strengths: Good rebound damping, seems pretty tough but don't expect miracles. Available for 1" head tubes.
Weaknesses: Spring is on the light side.
Bike Setup: 96 Hardrock, stock except for forks.
Bottom Line: Good fork for the money. For 200 dollars it's got some competition, but for $100, it's a bargain. I bought it to extend the capabilities of my old Specialized Hardrock and it certainly makes for a much improved ride. The spring is a little light though. I weigh about 170 lbs and have the pre-load cranked down most of the way. If you weigh over 190 lbs this is not the shock for you. 2-3 foot drops are no problem, but if you are thinking DH or FR, think again.
