from Kenosha Date Reviewed: June 14, 2008 | | Favoriate Trail: | Pets | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | Stock on bike | | Strengths: | This is the best fork I have ever ridden. It came stock on my mongoose EC-D. I got hit by a car doing thirty, and this fork didn't get a scratch on it and still runs great. So great that I took the fork that came on my session ten off and put this one on. I have never had a problem with this fork and its just amazing. | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | Manitou Travis Triple | | Bike Setup: | Frame: Session 10

from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Date Reviewed: October 30, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | your mom (all those curves) its a real trail, no joke. | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Price Paid: |
$9500.00 | | Purchased At: | Came with bike | | Strengths: | This is the best fork ever, super plush and great adjustments for all types of riding, from hucking to full out DH. | | Weaknesses: | lol, ya right | | Similar Products Used: | fox Van 36, Fox 40s, 888s | | Bike Setup: | 06 vp free spx fr kit. | | Bottom Line: | i moved to a long travel bike from my xc and i am simply amazed at what can be done with a bike like this. The Boxxer is nimble and light enough to get you in trouble, yet plush and burly enough to get you out with ease. 32mm stanchions are not a problem, while they may look flimsy next to a 40, i have never had a probelem with the fork flexing or anything. And at almost half the cost of a 40 or wc, this is the best fork for price on the market. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Mammoth Lakes. CA Date Reviewed: August 1, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | can you say BOOTLEG CANYON! | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | sierra spokehouse | | Strengths: | very tune-able to your riding style, you can feel small changes in setup when tuning, more of an everday fork vs. the WC, Great race support | | Weaknesses: | less quality time with the girlfriend(too much riding)... Seriously though, none. Nothing cheap here. | | Similar Products Used: | 04 boxxer WC, Junior t, slider + | | Bike Setup: | 03 Turner DHR with Dhx 5.0 upgrade | | Bottom Line: | A much better feel than the 04 wc, an amazing upgrade. It's on par with all the 40's Ive felt. All around an exceptional fork. look no further for a top shelf fork, half the cost of a WC or 40 and all the adjustment. Set it up right and it will take whatever suits your style. Bottom line is if you want a race level fork with everyday durability check this fork out. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Nevada City, CA, USA Date Reviewed: June 14, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$729.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | super plush, lockout/compression adjust with floodgate, lightweight, super stiff, it will take anything you throw at it. | | Weaknesses: | None yet, maybe a little soft. | | Similar Products Used: | 05 Junior T, 07 888 rcv | | Bike Setup: | 05 Faith, atamlab DHR wheelset, e.13 chainguide.... | | Bottom Line: | This is a super fork for the price. It has all the adjustments you would want at a resonable price. When I got this fork my bike felt brand new. It doesn't even compare to the stock junior T. Many people I have talked to say that it actually feels better the World Cup. I recomend to anyone looking into a sturdy performance dh fork. Deffinatly worth the price. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$800.00 | | Purchased At: | Freeride Mountain Sports | | Strengths: | low speed compression flood gate rebound buttery smooth bottomless maxle dh is quick and convieniant light(6.4 pounds!) | | Weaknesses: | springs were a little too stiff for me, theyre intended for 150-170 pound riders, and i'm only 106 , but my new <120 spring will be in soon!:)
It can take some time to set up
| | Similar Products Used: | 2006 Super T | | Bike Setup: | @006 Norco Atomik, boxxer team, sram x-o / x-7 shifter,e13 sts guide, mavic 729 rear rim laced to a hope bubl, sram 990 cassette. | | Bottom Line: | This fork is deadly! worth every penney! I don't use the compression or flood gat though becuase i'm very light, i didn't buy it for the adjustmentsm but for the smoothness over my super t's, new springs aren't expensive 37 canadian dollars! Its very light, tracks well and is pretty stiff. people say it cracks a lot but thats just people who huck them, theyre a race fork . i'f you are looking to buy one go for it! you won't regret it! buttery smooth travel full of adjustments, and progression for those faster times! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$700.00 | | Purchased At: | actionsports.de | | Strengths: | Everything a downhiller can think of plus a good price | | Weaknesses: | Not huckable Maxle a little weak The compression has a too narrow adjustment range | | Similar Products Used: | Shiver DC | | Bike Setup: | Custom Giant Faith | | Bottom Line: | This is your ordinary high quality downhill fork. Tracks well, keeps you equally stable in high speeds or tight corners, and has just enough travel to get you over anything. Plus does not weigh a lot. I hate the people saying these are weak and skinny. Yes they are made to be light, but they are race, not huck forks. Remember years ago when many of us were riding Super T's. All of a sudden, the 888s came and everyone tends to believe that 32mm is not enough. For me the only downside is the maxle DH which is too fragile, but other that this it is a solid, nice and well made fork that works. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Wroclaw, PL Date Reviewed: November 7, 2006 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Purchased At: | as a frameset | | Strengths: | Smoothness, great damping | | Weaknesses: | still none | | Similar Products Used: | Boxxer Race '03 | | Bike Setup: | Duncon Cane Corso with Roco RC, Boxxer Team, Avid Code, lots of Truvativ parts, Michelin / Syncros tires | | Bottom Line: | It's the same fork as Team 2006. Boxxer line stays untouched for 2007, so just read more reviews of team '06. But, if you're lazy... it's a great downhill fork, works best at high speeds, easy to adjust, mainatin, but needs a little tuning before 1st use. It's a stiff, pretty light and versatile fork for any downhiller and frequent freerider. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
