from Twin Cities Date Reviewed: July 23, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | The one I'm on | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Purchased At: | Came with my Iron Horse | | Strengths: | Fluid Movement, Adjustable rebound. Supports a heavier rider like myself. | | Weaknesses: | Cheap plastic rebound adjuster, adjustment is minimal. Only 70mm travel. | | Similar Products Used: | Mozo M30, came on last bike. Entry level Suntour and RST's on entry level bikes. | | Bottom Line: | Comes on entry level bikes, great for entry level riders. Have to spend quite a bit more to get a bike with a better fork. I can bottom out this for but not easily and I'm about 200lbs. For the retail price on this fork I wouldnt buy it though, think about the Rock Shox Dart 2 for about the same price. If it came on your bike, it will suffice if you are a recreational xc rider or until your abilities improve. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Dallas, Texas, USA Date Reviewed: November 25, 2006 | | Favoriate Trail: | any trail | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Purchased At: | Sport Authority | | Strengths: | ample travel (70 mm), low cost (came with diamondback sorrento), changes travel easily. | | Weaknesses: | 4 and a half pounds, sags when set at 70 mm. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | stock except new clip pedals. | | Bottom Line: | Good for beginners, but you will want to upgrade very soon because of weight. If you are over 115 pounds and want a good beginner bike, switch out the fork if it is a spinner grind 1. Besides, there are better forks for around the same price. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
