$410.00 | | Purchased At: | Salem Cycles, Salem, MA | | Strengths: | So far i cant find the stregnth | | Weaknesses: | No stiffness .. I will admit though I have a Manitou Black on my Trek Fuel and that twists so easily compared to this one | | Similar Products Used: | RS SID, RS JETT, RS JUDY TT | | Bike Setup: | Bone stock KHS XC104 | | Bottom Line: | Eh i guess cant complain for bone stock components. Plan on upgrading all major components shocks, forks, wheels, Hubs etc but hey i got the bike for 50% off | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$80.00 | | Strengths: | Good entry fork with good features, OX valve, lockout and preload. couldn't expect more than those features for a fair price i paid for.good damping and hardly bottoms out. | | Weaknesses: | hardly any but it seem when adjusted to its softest, it goes 'thunk' most of the time when i jumped. | | Similar Products Used: | SR-Suntour XCM 100mm - sucks big time! | | Bike Setup: | Specialized M5 HT, XTR M952-5 crank n M953 cassette, XT HG93 chain n rear M750 derailleur, Shimano 050 front derailleur, '07 LX shifters. Titec XC bars n stem. Shimano disc brakes with front Hayes V7. Jagwire cabling. Thomson Elite s/post. | | Bottom Line: | If you're a budget bounded fork hunter, this fork has got to be in your list to consider. Good value with features that not most of the equivalent forks would provide. I'd say, its a little better than RS Dart 2 o 3 in terms of XC. If you're good, re-build this fork to get it sing properly. I give it 2 thumbs up for its value and performance. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Good cushion | | Weaknesses: | Seems to pop when extending if the fork is tightened up to much. | | Similar Products Used: | Rock Shox | | Bottom Line: | Good shock for a beginner will be upgrading very soon. Gave it a 3 because this is by far the best shock I have ridden on a beginner shock. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Bolingbrook, IL Date Reviewed: January 2, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Purchased At: | OE ( Original Equipment) | | Strengths: | soft, reliable on the trail, reasonably light, soaks up the bumps and a few other things | | Weaknesses: | no cable housing for my disc brake cables on the fork. Mabye a little to soft. | | Similar Products Used: | manitou axel super | | Bike Setup: | stock 2005 Iron Horse Maverick Comp | | Bottom Line: | Great fork for a beggening rider. very plush, but dosent seem to sturdy, mabye a little to thin. stickers suck, and came off in a couple of rides. I rated this 4 stars because it was a pretty good Orignal Equipment on my Iron Horse Maverick. I gave it only 4 stars on the overall rating because it seems a little thin and a little too plush when it is warm out. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
