It doesnt soak up much at speed. When i got my bike it froze up completely and will not work. Luckily my LBS and Manitou give me a warranty. | | Similar Products Used: | Crappy Suntours, Demoed some low end rock shocks. | | Bike Setup: | Trek 6500 with upgraded seat+bottle cage | | Bottom Line: | This is a good entry level fork mostly made for looks. The lockout is nice but there seems to be only two settings, locked out and not. There is no in between with this fork. The preload adjust does not seem to do much except make the fork make a different sound when compressed. The fork looks great and is ok for riding around town but if you are going to actually ride some trails, YOU NEED A BETTER ONE. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
