from forest grove, OR, USA Date Reviewed: July 9, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | black rock freeride park | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | stiff, plush, external adjustments work really well | | Weaknesses: | dunno | | Similar Products Used: | Fox 40 | | Bike Setup: | Iron Horse Yakuza Kumicho | | Bottom Line: | So far I have loved the fork. Feels really nice over choppy terrain and takes some pretty big drops even when I land 70% on my front end and should probably have crashed. Crown has some nice adjustability if you want to shorten your wheelbase a little. External adjustments are really simple and work great (I just hope they don't break). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from st.johns Date Reviewed: October 2, 2006 | | Favoriate Trail: | satans choice | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | freeride ms | | Strengths: | the adjustability, bottom out control, preload and rebound that keith johnson dude probably didnt read the manuel because theres a black knob on the bottom of the fork that makes it more progressive so on bigger hits the fork isnt going to bottom out, it means that its really easy for it to compress over stutter bumps but on drops its adjustable so it might be easier to bottom out or harder because more or less pressure might be needed | | Weaknesses: | can be uncommon to find | | Similar Products Used: | nothing | | Bike Setup: | 06 norco atomik with 24 inch double track in back | | Bottom Line: | really nice fork great for beginners dont have many problems with it and its worh the value because some of the really nice forks like 888vf's have too fast a rebound for dh or freeride | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
