$600.00 | | Purchased At: | Direct from Pace | | Strengths: | Great looking, smooth travel packed with features. Pace were very helpfull and quick with responces. | | Weaknesses: | Had to send the fork back 3 times because of defects within the carbon which mean it was leaking oil. | | Similar Products Used: | Only other fork was Mazzochi XC Pro from about 95/96. | | Bike Setup: | Merlin Echo frame, White Industries B/B, Boone Twist Cranks with Ti rings, Hope pro 11 hubs and Hope Mini's. | | Bottom Line: | Once I got the proper item through its worked excellently, easy enough to set up and adjust on the move. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$600.00 | | Purchased At: | italian distributor | | Strengths: | McLaren f1 look, damping quality, launch control, factory answers your mail in minutes !! (only other I know is Stan no tubes) | | Weaknesses: | rigidity is not exceptional, it takes a little home work to use full travel | | Similar Products Used: | fox talas fox vanilla fox 36 van fox 36 talas rshox pike | | Bike Setup: | heckler full xtr c.max | | Bottom Line: | Not the stiffest fork on the market (should try 20mm axle version)but great confort and travel quality. Launch control is not easy to fine tune but is easy to engage, lowers the fork to pedal uphill those perfect 4 centimeters, and is much better than fox travel adjusters you never use. Spring installed is a little too stiff but pace answers your mails in minutes and gives you all the support. Is not easy to use full 130 travel, you should cut the elastomer fitted into the spring for less progressive travel end. I can definitly give five stars to this small company that makes a better product than famous Fox (apart from stiffnes wich is a little worst than Fox Vanilla and Float) | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$450.00 | | Purchased At: | Factory | | Strengths: | Great looking, great feeling, light, feature packed fork. Adjustable Travel, lockout, rebound etc. | | Weaknesses: | Seems to flex a little under braking when stopped using a 8" rotor. Oil leaking onto the crown after 3 rides. | | Similar Products Used: | Fox Vanilla | | Bike Setup: | Stock Giant Trance 4 with shorter stem and El Camino brakes. | | Bottom Line: | Beautiful fork, worked perfectly so far and flex is not noticible on the trail. Excellent companion for mid to light weight XC bikes. Much better action than the Vanilla.
Jury is out on reliability, waiting to hear from Pace to see if this oil is simply it bedding in.
If it has to go back I'll be unhappy. If it keeps on going i'll be delighted! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
