Therefore the bike's front bounces over obstacles instead of the fork working. As Carlo has already ridden one could use a rigid fork instead. I am 43 and have just to ride my mountain bike again after a few years.After racing motor cross for years and still going, I have a fair idea of how a good fork should work, these seem to fit the bill.
Magura has been making quality gear for motorcycles for longer than I can remember(I have a 1972 husky CR250 with Magura controls).This quality is obvious in these forks.
With what I paid for these, value is through the roof.
A faster younger rider may find fault with these but I doubt it.With right adjustments,and there is plenty, I believe they could suit anyone.
The bloke who reckons they don't react quickly enough and that they are to stiff needs to think about his tuning.

$426.00 | | Strengths: | Extremely stiff, absolutely reliable. The fork is an example for over the top craftsmanship - the knobs are not made of plastic but they are made of solid metal. The manufacturer supports its product very well. The fork does not go up and down when you do not sit on the bike's saddle. It does not bump out even in very very rough terrain and it keeps the bike's front still. I have made only minor adjustments (mostly to air pressure) since then. It hasn't leaked any oil to speak of, and only leaked air once (when it got very cold). It still feels great!
