| FavoriteTrail: | Fun stuff, 3' drops max. |
| Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month |
| Purchased At: | Sportchek ($#@$ing ^%%^holes) |
| Strengths: | responds to the smallest of bumps will cushion bigger ones simple, clean graphic the dropouts look awesome well, they seem sturdy. |
| Weaknesses: | little/ non-detectable damping- feels bloated springs designed for anorexic women some stiction dust wipes are so flimsy, when you pinch em, they buckle. probably dont do much good. |
| Similar Products Tried: | 24" RST 154 (best wal-mart fork, ever) ...rigid? |
| Bike Setup: | Stock ironhorse warrior 2.3 alivio trigger shifters, acera rear derailleur, fox vanilla coil, FSA crankset, ITS ninja tires, Tektro IO brakes, some no-name "freedom" rims. |
| Bottom Line: | if you are a light rider, these forks may be for you. i'm 130, and i easily use the full travel. much too soft. i use it by leaning back and letting the fox coil do all the work. the fork just lets the front tire come down. any time the fork is unweighted, it usually tops out with a CLUNK! sometimes the damping works. sometimes. the only reason you know its there, is the hissing and the occasional time when the fork does not top out. topping out isnt too bad, but you can feel the impact of it. it does an excellent job of letting the front tire roll over roots and holes, however. great control and reasonably stiff. bottom line? if you are just beginning and a bike comes spec'd with these, it'll work, just so long as you are light. if you are not a horse jockey, you will need a new fork. the sag for a heavier guy is equivalent to half the travel, and the bob will bottom them out. not a great fork; bearable. |

| Strengths: | none |
| Weaknesses: | everything |
| Bike Setup: | trek brusier 1 |
| Bottom Line: | basiclly i broke them off a one foot drop. Thats gay. dont buy them spend a little more money and get a better fork unless you want to waste more money. Don't even buy a bik with this fork on it cause you'll break it and you'll have to waste more money buying a new one. |

| FavoriteTrail: | Owen Sound Bike Park |
| Duration Product Used: | 3 months |
| Price Paid: | $650 |
| Purchased At: | Bike Face( bought with a bike no clue of the real price) |
| Strengths: | Nice loose fork. well that sums it up... |
| Weaknesses: | Paint on the stanchions sucks, has weird lube on mine that collects every molecule of crap, stiffens up all the time, or loosens too much, other than that its good (getting new one) |
| Similar Products Tried: | ummmm |
| Bike Setup: | KHS dj 50, shimano products, this fork, blblalala |
| Bottom Line: | A satisfactory fork, buy it if you want to get rid of it immediately. I bought with a bike thats why the price is the price fo the bike. There. And this is a completely different review than the others, but im not cheating you, this is da real thing |

| Duration Product Used: | Tested or demo'ed only |
| Strengths: | Awesome ride for the price |
| Weaknesses: | Non that ive found |
| Similar Products Tried: | Marz EXR, FR2s, 66vf, MZs, Manitou blacks and Axels |
| Bike Setup: | These forks came stock on my friend GT Agressor 2 |
| Bottom Line: | Well i cant say how theyd turn out long term as its not my bike but i have tried these forks out on some trails in the forest and im impressed, the bike only cost him £380 in all and these forks handle better than the MZs that come stock on most konas that are near double the price. The lock out is a good little addition to them and although they dont perform like the FR2s fitted to my jump bike they perform awesomely for their price range i only wish id known about these before i had bought my EXRs as the lock out would have been handy, we'll have to see how they go long term, i would would say that my only niggle about these is they seem to weigh a bit compared to the EXRs but that may just be to do with the set up of his bike. Still if you want a nice pair of affordable forks for XC or commuting etc then these are the ones to get. |
