    Date Reviewed: August 26, 2006
    Favorite Trail:middle run
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:ebay
    Strengths:light
Weaknesses:I find this fork very difficult to tune. Need to add air before each ride as it loses about 10 lbs. each day.
    Similar Products Used:Marz Bomber
Bike Setup:2001 Big Sur, xt drive, mavic wheels
Bottom Line:I expected much more from this fork considering the price. Sure, it's light, but it's also quite stiff except when you stand on a climb and then bobs like crazy. (I did not spring the extra $100 for the poplock.)I alsofind that I need to lube the fork before each ride to reduce stiction. I look forward to breaking this fork and replacing it.

Favorite Trail:Carr Ridge-Bear Brook State Park
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $440.00
    Purchased At:Jenson USA
Strengths:This fork is light (sub 3 pounds) and very adjustable.
It smoothes out the roughest trail I can throw at it.This is definitely not for free riding, but if you want to build up a light quality XC racing bike, this is the fork to use.
Weaknesses:Cost! Why do these things cost so much?
    Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Access XCL frame with XT drivetrain,Mavic LX wheels.
Bottom Line:This is the perfect fork for XC racing. Light, smooth and tracks very well.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this fork again.

Submitted by Glenn a Cross Country Rider from Texas
    Date Reviewed: July 27, 2006
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $300.00
    Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Light weight. Adjustability. Travel and track!!!
    Weaknesses:Could be stiffer.
Similar Products Used:RS Judy XC, Psylo XC
Bike Setup:Gary Fisher Sugar 2+, XT drivetrain Bontrager wheels and Cane Creek AD-10 rear shock.
Bottom Line:Piddled around until I got it tuned. Just did an epic this weekend and it left me wondering why I messed around with cheaper forks all this time. After 4 hours of riding, if I didn't run out of water, I would have kept going. I left the travel indicator on the leg and it measured full travel a few times, though I didn't even know it. No hard bottoming out and smooth rebound. To all who hate it all I have to say is RTFM and adjust it to your weight and style.

    Date Reviewed: June 21, 2006
Favorite Trail:as long as it has long decents and jumps
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $260.00
    Purchased At:W.G CYCLES
Strengths:It's very light and agile for an XC fork.
    Weaknesses:None so far.
Similar Products Used:Rockshox indy s, Jett, Pilot SL, Marzocchi MX series.
Bike Setup:06 Giant XTC TEAM frame, Shimano Deore LX groupsets, Panaracer 2.10 FireXCpro tires, 06 SID Race
Bottom Line:This fork is the greatest air sprung fork i've ever used compare to other air forks bcoz it took one hell of abuse on freeride trails and still handles like my 160mm freeride fork (with a bit of stiffness though). I'd recommend it to all of those hardcore XC riders out there. An awesome performance with incredible value.

Submitted by Kyle a Weekend Warrior from New York
    Date Reviewed: May 25, 2006
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $500.00
    Strengths:light, fits on my bike.
Weaknesses:does not soak up bumps very well, way to expensive for what you get
    Similar Products Used:03 sid
    Bike Setup:carbon XC ride
Bottom Line:This fork costs a small fortune and it's not worth it. I should have just gotten a cheaper judy or something and I'm sure it would handle as nice. The only upside to this fork is it's weight and that's not worth all that extra cash. My old o3 sid works better than this new one.
