I find this fork very difficult to tune. Need to add air before each ride as it loses about 10 lbs. each day.

I expected much more from this fork considering the price. Sure, it's light, but it's also quite stiff except when you stand on a climb and then bobs like crazy. (I did not spring the extra $100 for the poplock.)I alsofind that I need to lube the fork before each ride to reduce stiction. I look forward to breaking this fork and replacing it.

Strengths:
This fork is light (sub 3 pounds) and very adjustable. It smoothes out the roughest trail I can throw at it.This is definitely not for free riding, but if you want to build up a light quality XC racing bike, this is the fork to use.

Bottom Line:
Piddled around until I got it tuned. Just did an epic this weekend and it left me wondering why I messed around with cheaper forks all this time. After 4 hours of riding, if I didn't run out of water, I would have kept going. I left the travel indicator on the leg and it measured full travel a few times, though I didn't even know it. No hard bottoming out and smooth rebound. To all who hate it all I have to say is RTFM and adjust it to your weight and style.

This fork is the greatest air sprung fork i've ever used compare to other air forks bcoz it took one hell of abuse on freeride trails and still handles like my 160mm freeride fork (with a bit of stiffness though). I'd recommend it to all of those hardcore XC riders out there. An awesome performance with incredible value.

This fork costs a small fortune and it's not worth it. I should have just gotten a cheaper judy or something and I'm sure it would handle as nice. The only upside to this fork is it's weight and that's not worth all that extra cash. My old o3 sid works better than this new one.
