    Date Reviewed: April 5, 2007
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Purchased At:Came With Bike
    Strengths:Lockout, Preload, Looks
Weaknesses:You will not get the travel that it advertises. It doesnt soak up much at speed. When i got my bike it froze up completely and will not work. Luckily my LBS and Manitou give me a warranty.
Similar Products Used:Crappy Suntours, Demoed some low end rock shocks.
    Bike Setup:Trek 6500 with upgraded seat+bottle cage
Bottom Line:This is a good entry level fork mostly made for looks. The lockout is nice but there seems to be only two settings, locked out and not. There is no in between with this fork. The preload adjust does not seem to do much except make the fork make a different sound when compressed. The fork looks great and is ok for riding around town but if you are going to actually ride some trails, YOU NEED A BETTER ONE.

    Favorite Trail:any
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Strengths:lockout....that's IT!
Weaknesses:hmm... let me think, it doesn't suck up anything at speed, then when it does pick up a bump it blows right through the travels and bottoms out!
Similar Products Used:cheap suntour that actually worked a lot better than this.
Bike Setup:trek 6500 with selle italia XO (horrible), Hayes HFX 9 discs (good!), and knock off ODI lock on grips that saved me 20 bucks and work better!
Bottom Line:this fork is horrible don't buy it! if you're looking at a bike that comes with this fork budget for a fork upgrade quick-time.
