Strengths:This fork is indestructable! Best fork I have ever ridden. It's really tunable with great adjustability, it's really plush and the best thing is you can ride croos-country to your downhill course and just keep going- it's so versatile.
Weaknesses:150mm travel I would have like more- but that's the 66. It makes a wierd sounds when it compresses but it has never een a probelm. The stickers have been peeling since the day I got it though.
Similar Products Used:drop-off triple, dirt jam pro, jr t, manitou stance, drop off IV.
Bike Setup:2005 Norco Rampage- stock with MTX rims
Bottom Line:This is an amazing for with amzing value. It's better than any for in way of performance and strength. I would reccomend this to anyone who can't afford to have lots of different bikes for different types of riding- this fork can do it all amazingly. It's really stable in the air, it has never bottomed out, really plush and smooth. the best fork for the value you will get anywhere.

Strengths:Everything, You can not fault these forks.
    Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:RST : Mojo Tl's, Magura :quake rond comps, Marzocchi EXR and EXR pro, Marzocchi DJ II's
Bottom Line:I've only had these about 3 weeks myself and only used them a few times as they werent bought for the bike i have built atm (build another for the Z1s as we speak) but a friend of mine has them and ive taken them out a fair few times. All i can say is : This is what marzocchi forks are all about, They handle sweet as a nut, soak up everything you put them through (even though they werent set up for my weight) and just scream out to be taken over bigger obstacles. these are only the 130mm versions too and theyre awesome. Sod wasting twice the amount on a pair of fox forks just shell out the £300 and you wont have to buy another pair of forks until either these die (which id be surprised at) or you can no longer get spares. Well done Marzocchi

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $350.00
Strengths:Looks, stiffness, Really Plush, Cheap (paid £200) endless travel (150mm version)
    Weaknesses:Rubbish Decals
    Similar Products Used:Fox, manitou
Bike Setup:Cove G-Spot with DHX 5, Marzocchi Z FR2, Hope Mono M4's, Race Face Diabolous finishing kit
Bottom Line:Bought these to replace my Fox Vanilla R130's and can't believe how much better they are. I have so much more confidence and fun on them. They never feel like they will bottom out and the rebound works miles better than the Fox.
I should have bought these earlier instead of believing the Hype about Fox Forx!!

    Favorite Trail:North shore, freeride
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Purchased At:Sport Davis
Strengths:This fork is a real sweat deal out there! I got it on my Norco Rampage 2005, 150 mm travel with rebound adjustement. This adjustement is a must! You can throw everything you want at this fork with the right PSI for your weight and riding style. Me i run 6 PSI in the left leg, and i do for most freeride, north shore, downhill and some dirt jumps. This fork is totally awesome! I cleared a 25 foot gap, and did a 7foot high by 15 foot long drop too, these are the biggest things ive rode yet, and ive never bottomed it! It works smooth like butter, you can do anything with this fork, ive got a hardtail and, sure, i know how to land and ride freeride hardtails, but trust me, Marzocchi Z1 Bomber line is pure fun and realiability!
Weaknesses:None to complain about, everyhting's fine!
Similar Products Used:Fox, Rockshox and some crapy manitou freeride forks, Marzocchi is my company!
Bike Setup:Norco Rampage 2005 stock, excepts for the pedals, wellgo b-67 and im gonna get rid of the singletracks soon. Mag 30's are solid!
Bottom Line:This is what Marzocchi is all about. Perfect assembly quality, technology that works smooths as hell, you can run them everywhere you want, giving them what you want, they wont complain, it's trustable because it's and Z1 Bomber fork! I'be got another Marzocchi fork on my second bike, Specialized P3 2000, with an z3.5, and after 5 years, she's still workin fine and can handle the most technical things you throw at it in street riding.Las word, TRUST MArzocchi, trust these folks and enjoy the ride buddies! It's a real deal this fork, i love it!

    Date Reviewed: June 20, 2005
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $520.00
Strengths:Plush, stiff, rebound adjustment, very light weight
    Weaknesses:ssv damping in left leg
Similar Products Used:Marzicchi DirtJumper III '03
Bike Setup:Race Bike Monster HT (www.racebike.cz)
Bottom Line:When I broke crown on my DJ III '03 it was time to take something better for a ride. I was impressed how the fork rides, it's much stiffer when cornering and damping is far far better than on DJ III. Last weekend I had an accident, landed on front very hardly, but fork seems to be OK, without any sign of damage, what I can't say about me, I can hardly move. So I think this fork will ride at least as long as my DJ.
Only 1 thing I don't like, it's ssv cartridge in left leg, which takes away the plushness of hscv in right leg. Anyway, this fork is much more plush then the old one.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Purchased At:Moose Cycles
Strengths:Smooth out the box/much stiffer than my old ronds/got max travel on first ride
Weaknesses:Little plastic cover for the air preload will disappear very quick!
Similar Products Used:M Z3s Rond Quake Comp, 04 Super T pro
Bike Setup:05 Chameleon, 05 Fr2, other bits and bobs
Bottom Line:Well only ridden on one ride so far but very impressed. Very smooth straight away (for my 180lbs), much stiffer than previously ridden sc forks. Got full travel when I came up short on little double, but they didnt complain and let me ride it out. Great for the price as well.
