    Favorite Trail:Ruffey Lake Park
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:- Able to take large drops (6 foot)
    - I didn't find it heavy
    - Great for riding street (if your into that)
    Weaknesses:I didn't find any
    Similar Products Used:Marzocchi DJ3
Bike Setup:2005 Brodie Cyclone with stock setup
Bottom Line:This fork is awesome for the things I said in the Strengths but I didn't test it on Downhill but it would have been good to. Buy this fork! It is awesome!

    Date Reviewed: October 21, 2007
    Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:Not so pricey... but performs as intended. Be sure to follow Zoke's air pressure recommendation. We'll it also resist my abuse... and begs for more.
    Weaknesses:None so far...
Similar Products Used:Manituo Sherman FireFly, Zoke DJ3, SR Suntour XCR, SR Suntour XCP, SR Suntour XC Pro... all single crown forks... Manitou Travuis, RS Boxxer World Cup and Zoke Jr T... on dual crowns that I used.
Bike Setup:SS speed bike w, DH rims and shimano deore hydros brake system. Its a dj rig.
Bottom Line:This fork gives me satisfaction. Its a XC fork but sometimes i'll abuse it (due to my riding nature). Had dropped it from a 5ft drop to tranny and a 5ft big air on my SS speed Dj rig (its about to be replaced w/ a DJ3)... it seems to withstand such beating. Love the fork when doing technical downhill (rock gardens and rain rots) on XC trails.

Bottom Line:This fork not only performes well, but also looks good. After numerous endows and a few trees it still stands tall.

Similar Products Used:rock shox, judy, reba.

I weight 200lbs and it stands up to any trail i throw at it

    I have the 105mm

Cheap.. affordable, hard workin, great performing Fork

    Date Reviewed: June 12, 2006
    Favorite Trail:Sherwood Forest
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:Came with bike
    Strengths:Needs next to no maintenence,
    Simple to adjust,
    IS disc mount,
The colour of the Marin OEM version matches my frame perfectly
Weaknesses:Heavy compared to some of the competition
Similar Products Used:03 Rock Shox Judy, some older Rock Shox stuff
Bike Setup:05 Marin Wildcat (not many stock components left on it) - Deore, LX, XT, Avid BB7 discs, Halo Freedom wheels, etc....
Bottom Line:This is one of the few components I haven't yet swapped on my bike. It isn't very flashy compared to some of the newer, more expensive forks on the market - but it does the job and the travel and colour match my frame perfectly.

    Date Reviewed: June 10, 2006
    Favorite Trail:Laurel Mtn, Slate Rock
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
Purchased At:Came OE on two of my bikes
    Strengths:Laterally stiff, lightweight, Marzocchi quality
    Weaknesses:Only 120mm travel, instead of 150+
    Similar Products Used:'Zocchi Z-150 FR SL (2004)
Bike Setup:Haro Xtreme X2 with DeeMax wheelset, Hayes HFX-9 8" rotors, P'racer Mud Pro's, Z-150 FR SL fork (now).

K2 Lithium 3, CrossMax wheelset, Hayes MX1 brakes w/ 8" rotors, 'Zocchi EXR Pro fork.
Bottom Line:I've had two bikes with this fork, and absolutely loved it. The only reason I upgraded one of them to the Z-150 FR SL was for the additional travel. Now you can get 170mm travel from single-crown forks... Time to upgrade again maybe?

I never had ANY trouble whatsoever out of either fork...
They're dirt cheap compared to FOX & other's that probably aren't much if any better than this one. It just the stickers on them.
