    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $200.00
    Strengths:Stiff, simple strong design
Weaknesses:none, unless you need plastic dials or are a weight weenie
Similar Products Used:Marz z3, RS boxxer, judy c, psylo xc, manitou 6
Bike Setup:single speed planet x bommer
Bottom Line:I used the 2002 model fork for urban, dirt jumping and DH and it was amazing. I weight 150 (170 with all my gear) and used the fork stock. Droped it 8ft to flat tones of times and it was super plush. 12 stair gaps to flat or into stairs and it handled it all beautifully. The big fat stanctions, beefy lowers took a crazy beating and never lost it's plushness. Never felt flexy. Very little upkeep, I never even opened it. Used it for dj, dh and street and it saved my butt more than once. I took a pedal drop, 6 feet to flat and my chain skiped sending me into a nose dive and the fork took it. I have never had a fork that I felt so safe on. Not the most responsive for DH but can handle the abuse... Only reason I got rid of it was cause I stoped doing the urban thing. I now ride a psylo (got it on sale for xc) and I would fear droping it off 2feet if the grim reaper were after me, cause it would bust and I'd kill myself anyways(my psylo broke in 30 seconds on a 2" bump, no joke! and with the cost of repairs I could have just gotten myself a nice xc Marzocchi and saved over a month of riding). I can not believe people get psylos for urban when the Marz dj's are out there and cheaper. The dj3 was perfect, no dials to break, just simple strong design so you can go ride! If you want dials, get the dj2 or dj1... My next fork will definetly be a Marzocchi. My buddy droped his z3 (Marzocchi xc fork) 6 feet to flat ttill it broke and they just gave hima new one, Rock Shox warranty takes months and costs a fortune.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ROCK SHOX, THEY STINK AND THERE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I MISS MY OLD MARZOCCHI, IF YOUR RIDING STREET OR DIRT JUMPING GET ONE!

Strengths:This Fork is Nice.. Built Strong to Last Long.. It's Taken everything I've thrown at it for about a year and a half now. I'm a street rider but occasionally hit 7 foot to flat and do lots of picks and stuff
Weaknesses:The Original Steerer Tube Bends.. replace it with an aftermarket anodized aluminum one and they are solid
    Similar Products Used:JR.T haha jks
Bike Setup:On One Gimp, Single Speed, KMC H15 Chain, DJ3, Hookworms, DX32 24" Rims etc etc
Bottom Line:This Fork is Absolutely bomb proof other than that garbage steerer tube that comes with it.. It's good For street riders or dirtjumpers of all sizes. It does make an annoying clicking noise.. But that goes away after a while.

Strengths:Strentgh: Bloody hell these things are strong!
Looks: They look great, lovely decels, paint scheme ect.
Price: Great value, Best fork in the price range in my eyes...
Weaknesses:As of yet i've had not one complaint except that the bloody sticker covers where buggers to get off cos I got no nails, But thats nothing important...!
    Similar Products Used:None
    Bike Setup:Dirt jump/street/freeride set-up, high qwuality components through-out...
Bottom Line:I've had the forks a few months now, ans im pleasently surprised at how good they are. Im not the most agreesive rider in whole, But I do get some big air at times when dirtjumping or bombing down my local trials, And at itmes slam down hard, And im glad to say that the fork has responded perfectly to all the situations, never failing me. Also thew weight of the fork wasn't that of expected. i've heard complaints of the weight of the DJ series forks of being a bit on the heavy side, but personally I reckon their exagirated, as I can do wheelie's/maunuals with ease.
Plushness of the fork is also incredible, as they move extrmely smooth, and the seals to a great job at keeping water, and all the nasty grime away.As for travel, I would recomend leaving the fork at 100mm if dirtjumping is your main riding style as the fork always responds acordingly, Im hoping to get a 130mm conversion soon thoguh as I love to freeride, and if it works just as good as in 130mm i'll be laughing!

The perfect fork for dirtjumping/freeride/street, and XC even!
    5/5 In all aspects!
    Go buy some now!
