from Edmonton, Alberta Date Reviewed: August 28, 2006 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Purchased At: | Came with bike | | Strengths: | Actually a really strong fork, iv'e used it for over a year and haven't had any problems with it. The preload adjust works well for what it is. Good travel for Dj's/Urban riding. | | Weaknesses: | Could have a little more travel and adjustability. | | Similar Products Used: | Marz DJ3 | | Bike Setup: | 2005 Norco Bigfoot, Sun Rims, Hussefelt bar and stem, stock Dirt Jam Comps. | | Bottom Line: | Great bang for the buck if you buy them used, or if it comes with your bike. Easy and smooth, good 4-5 inch travel, pretty strong, can handle 5/6 foot drops and I weigh 175, not too bad. Great for some small to big Dj's and urban riding. Not recommended for and DH/Freeride. Great overall product. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$100.00 | | Purchased At: | store | | Strengths: | the fork is a lot more stiff that my previous forks (stance/exr)preload seemed to work well, isnt all floppy like some of marzocchi's forks. | | Weaknesses: | stiffens up really quick in cold weather, and by stiff I mean the fork doesnt move. it came on a Kona shred that I had for a while. also its very heavy. maybe around 6 pounds ? has no controll and tops out makeing a harsh feeling. | | Similar Products Used: | Stance Static, Sherman jumper, Marzocchi Drop off comp, Marzocchi DJII | | Bike Setup: | stock Kona shred | | Bottom Line: | if it comes on your bike, then great! but I wouldent reccomend actually purchaseing this fork for your bike. maybe if you saw it used for like 80 bucks then go for it, but its not worth more than that. dont bother selling it when you take it off your bike, keep it as its actually a pretty good back up fork. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
