Strengths:
Very stiff, unique feel, 30mm axle, bolt on stem, stable platform, no starnut
Weaknesses:
heavier than expected, expensive, long break-in period
Similar Products Used:
Stratos S8, Foes F-1, Marzo 888
Bike Setup:
Older Fly with XTD up front
Bottom Line:
This fork is very impressive. A bit heavy, so get the Ti spring. With the Ti spring, it weighs about 8.7 pounds with the axle, hub and stem.
The damping is very unique. It doesn't dive under braking like other forks, and the faster and rougher the terrain, the smoother the forks feel. The rebound adjuster is hard to tell the difference between fast and slow while in the parking lot, so it has to be adjusted doing multiple runs. The will be a sweet spot where the front disappears, and everything tracks, absorbs, handles. Almost like a magic carpet.
The crowns are huge, and inspire much confidence while looking at them. They bolt to 50mm upper tubes which will not flex as I can percieve. This is great to know as one enters a rock garden at speed.
The break-in period lasted about 4 months, which is a long time, but when I ride, my dh runs last about 2 minutes, and I usually only do 3-4 each time (too much pedaling). I would imagine if you go to ski area's it would be much shorter break-in time.
This fork is expensive, but it is a hand crafted, work of art. Art that is extremely functional. I have no doubt that when I can no longer ride, it could be mounted on a wall in the home. I guess I am saying that price is only relative.

Strengths:
The fork is stiff, endless travel feel, Does not pack up, Optional TI. spring, Intergrated stem. Sounds cool.
Weaknesses:
Little heavy, harder to bunny hop at first
Similar Products Used:
F-1 (too much matience., Dorado's (flex more than a yoga constructor), shivers (good feel, just not enough adjustments for dh racing).
Bike Setup:
DHs MONO, THe fork, Saint cranks, hayes brakes (elcamino), Mavic rims, Galfer front and rear rotors,
Bottom Line:
The bottom line is that this fork will not dissapoint, thought it is a little expensive it was worth taking out a loan to get them, Have to build credit somehow. If you want a fork that is easy to adjust you should think about this the next time you are looking at a fork. If have a bike that is not worth over 1500 dollars dont waist your money get a new frame then upgrade, or get credit card with a high limit.

Strengths:
amazing tracking, no dive level feel, smooth and plush, this is not a cookie cutter fork claiming to be the best yet still needing a lot of tuning to get it going. you put it on and it out performs expectations. no 'wiggle' under brakes. sucks the front tyre to the ground, stiff stem set up. easy to use adjustments that do what they should. bottomless feel. no 'spike' in travel that every other fork i have riden has.
Weaknesses:
poor steering lock. four bolt rotor, although foes rotor is nice. talk of weight is relevent to performance. not stupid weight, but heavy enuff! if it didnt work this well i wouldnt have this weight on (just over a shivers wt).
Similar Products Used:
foes f1 (ok)dorado mrd x works (below average), shiver dc (good), 888 (v.good), many boxxers (ordinary and flexi),monster t (goodish), sherman tripple clamp (has its place)and a bunch of other less relevent ones.
Bike Setup:
foes dhs mono, curnutt rear, hadley, middleburn cranx, mavic rims, king stainless deep cup h/s, pro taper, thompson post, shimano brakes, sram drive system, bla bla
Bottom Line:
its all about what terrain you ride, and with what attitude/needs. i ride 4-7 days a week, with some racing thrown in. xc, dh, jump park, back country, any ride can be fun with the rite crew. 17 years race/ride experience and still passionate. hand crafted factory fork. a feel that the other brands may have in a few years, but no other fork feels like this yet. weight is sweet for where i ride/race. a bit hefty hauling it around free ride lines, but confidence inspiring on the decent. special under brakes and solid steering. best traking fork to date. could change my frame, but would struggle to let this fork go. 4.8 outta 5
