Bikes I currently own (most recent first): Santa Cruz Bullit (North Shore), Concord Half-Trak (beginner trials), Sunn Xchox (similar to a Rocky Element, XC FS), Bianchi road bike, GT Avalanche (old steel version, commuter)

First mtn bike: Sears clone of a Specialized Stumpjumper, bought in '83. Not much left of the original bike when I sold it.

Grew up in Cranbrook, BC, Canada where I spent my childhood riding the trails around there and breaking banana seat bikes. The equivalent of home made BMX bikes (Thanks Dad for welding gussets on all the broken frames!) Moved to the Vancouver area to go to college (BCIT), been here ever since.

Work as a mechanical designer for high energy physics research lab in the applied technology group (cyclotrons, nuclear medicine, bla bla).

Hobbies: obviously cycling, bonsai & viewing stones, road race cars (FV), skiing, photography, hiking

Trails: Hmmm, tough one, probably have to say the North Shore as they are so much fun, but I enjoy off road touring to. The MTBR gatherings are lots of fun. Can you have a bad time riding a bike?

Recently married. No kids (yet) or pets. 36 years old.

Vehicles: 89 Dodge Ram, passenger van, great for biking or skiing road trips, towing trailers, camping, whatever. 69 VW Beetle convertible, project car. FV race car. 76 Honda Gold Wing
