Strength:

Rims and spokes stayed true with no issue.

Weakness:

Freehub.

Like the other reviewer, I only got 2 months of bi-weekly rides out of the rear wheel before the pawls broke. Generously that's 250 miles. Oh, and my shop is struggling to find a pawl rebuild kit. But, up until then they were great and reasonable price.

Strength:

The rim. It is very strong, stiff, reasonably wide and still light enough. It also looks great, but this is a matter of taste, obviously.

Weakness:

Spin Doctor Pro hub failed after a couple of months only. The freewheel just gave in. This is the first hub that failed on me in such a short time under normal MTB use (less than 1000 miles)

The hub is the main weakness. I will probably replace it with a Shimano hub to make the wheel last longer. The rim is the main selling point, I still love it.

Similar Products Used: Shimano Deore, XT hubs.
