Strength:

very light, but massive strength, easy tubeless install, cool looking.

Weakness:

freewheel body broken after 3 month(local bike shop says it because bad hub adjustment). all the logos are paper decals not laser print, for a $1000 wheelset Mavic Crossmax SLR has done better job in decoration.

Made of ultra light alloy make this wheelset perfect choice for serious cross country riders.
The Fulcrum’s rims are works of art. it's made tubeless installation so easy, try some Bontrager's sh*t then you know what do I mean.
The hubs's machine work is some of the most intricate CNC work I’ve seen since the Hope Pro 3 hubs appeared a year ago, truly art works.

they worth your money, go and buy them.

Strength:

Very fast, light, rigid and of course super bling factor especially the fiery red on my black Stumpy. Build quality is second to none.

Weakness:

None, maybe the steep price but well worth it.

This is the best wheelset I've had so far since I started mountain biking 3 years ago. Compared to the SLR's, the performance is very close but slightly faster spinning, more rigid especially for climbing and of course the bling factor is the best looking wheelset. The fiery red colour just stands out on an all black frame. For an XC wheelset, I feel I can take the jumps and descend with confidence even on the most bumpy and technical trails. Had these babies for over 6 months and never had to true the spokes yet. Had to adjust the cup and cone bearings on the rear though but only once after the first month of riding. The spin is silky smooth and unbelievably fast. Absolutely no spoke rubbing or twisting noise when standing up during steep climbs and sprinting. The best part, the inside hub is very easy to clean due to the 2:1 spoke ration. One side is wide open for the hands to enter and wipe the hub. This wheelset is must for any serious rider who only wants the best performing wheelset. It's a keeper. Get ready to fork out the dough.

Strength:

Light, stiff, strong, fast, flawless freehub, high quality bearings, well designed quick releases, valves with removable cores for easy application of latex sealant. Freehub sound is a joy to the ears, build quality is superb.

Weakness:

Perhaps the high price - but you do get what you pay for. Initial cup / cone bearing adjustment on each of my Fulcrum Red Metal Zero Disc wheelsets.

Each of my bikes is fitted with a pair of Fulcrum Red Metal Zero Disc wheels. I have been riding them for more than one year with zero issues. Haven't had to true them, they are still running straight as an arrow. From the first meters you'll notice how incredibly smooth the bearings are, they seem to roll forever.

Mounting regular tires with sealant is easy - rims hold the tires very well, with a nice pop of the tire as it's being seated during install. Removable valve core makes for easy application of sealant.

The Fulcrum Red Metal Zero's have cup / cone bearings - after the first ride on each of my wheelsets I had to adjust the bearings as the wheels (front and rear) had some sideplay. Perhaps due to the internal grease being spread from riding. Adjustment is a piece of cake, but for the rear wheel the disc needs to be unmounted. Haven't had the need to adjust them since, they seem to get faster and faster on each ride ;o)
