Light, tubeless with out tape. No tuning required ever!

I run these wheels on my stump jumper for about 4 years. Never once had do maintenance or touch a spoke. Lighter that the stock wheels. Tubless set up so easy without tape.

Strength:

I bought these wheels in the summer of 2008 and still have not had a single problem with them. I put them on a hard-tail race singlespeed. I have ridden these wheels hard since then and still have not had to even true them. They ride like a dream and are an amazing wheel for the pricepoint.

Weakness:

none

Overall a great wheelset that is very stiff and and holds up well to abuse.

Strength:

UST Rims, 36 POE hub with easy serviceabilty, weight, and price

Weakness:

none

Great wheels for the price. I got mine before the prices seemed to go up a bit. The hub is 36 POE and isn't terribly annoying. The wheels are stiff, light, UST ready without any rim strips, and the hubs are very easy to service and take apart without any special tools. As for availability of parts, do people not know how to google anything? I looked for some spare spokes, freehubs, axles, and anything else to do with fixing this wheel, and I found every single part online and easily ordered for cheap. Parts availability is NOT an issue with these wheels. Mavic wheel parts are an endangered species, Fulcrum's spares are easily found at many online supply shops all over the place.

1 year riding and racing and wheels are still true, freehub still is smooth, and nothing bad to report at all with this wheelset. If you need spare parts, google the part number and then purchase the part from any number of stores that carry them.

Strength:

for the price good light wheelset,UST.....

Weakness:

as it was already mentioned, availability of spare parts....

It is the 2010 version with no bladed spokes. In 1 year 3 spokes gone, which had never happened to me on any wheel. It would not be a problem, unless there is problem to get spare parts especially spokes.Last time I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for replacement spoke. Now another one gone just 2 days ago......

Strength:

Fast hubs, light for the price, UST tubeless capable, very strong, cool decals.

Weakness:

Used to DT Swiss quiet hubs, no big deal.

I got the 2010 new version. Best buy wheels. Couldn't find anything cheaper with that weight and the features. More expensive wheels would only mean lighter weight.

Strength:

Strong and light. Looks great new. Easy UST use. Low

Weakness:

Fulcrum has crap service. Never answered any email. No easy replacement spoke avaibility (checked QBP, BTI etc...)or service. Had to buy 45 dollar rebuild kit to replace one spoke. Difficult repair.

Try to contact Fulcrum before you buy or just try to find a replacement spoke. Work great when they work, but broke a spoke (in transport not riding), and service or parts major hassel and expense. Check this before you buy

Strength:

stiff, nice looking, light, fast

Weakness:

none so far

I have Campagnolo wheels on my road bike that are very fast. I am very happy with them so I bought these as Fulcrum is part of Campagnolo. These wheels are awesome. They are stiff and very fast. They just keep rolling even on rough single track when you think you would have to pedal. I have had them for six months and they are still true and have not needed any maintenance. Probably the best wheels out there.

Strength:

They look the business, are high quality and silent in use. The wheels are also genuine UST.

Weakness:

None so far but could maybe be a little lighter.

These wheels are excellent in my opinion, I have the 08/early 09 version before they lost a little weight. I weigh 220lbs plus kit and these are solid as a rock with the added bonus of having a UST designed rim so no faffing about with rim strips and all that crap. Looked at another set of Hope Hoops with stan's ZTR 355 rims but haven't read many good reviews about the rims plus the afor-mentioned hassle. These wheels sealed first time with a set of Maxxis Crossmark tyres without sealant, hassle free. Lastly I only paid £269 for them with a set of Hope skewers thrown in, bargain!

Strength:

Good looking, smooth bearings, not that heavy (for the price), accept UST or regular tires. Very true when new, stable in turns or when pushed hard, the spokes are glued into the nipples.

Weakness:

The cassette clicking sound is a bit loud, the stickers with the logo look nice but not sure how long will last on wheels used in rough terrain.

Definitely a good, solid and nice looking set of wheels for everyday XC. Not the lightest but for the price, a great buy.
