Strength:

Lightweight and good hubs.

Weakness:

Spokes break after just a couple rides, making the wheels worthless.

The spokes break after a few rides. The first one I bought brand new from bikewagon and a spoke broke on the 2nd ride. I was pedaling up a hill on a paved road and heard the spoke break. The second was a brand new rear wheel with the tags still on that I bought from Ebay. It lasted 2 weeks, maybe 4 rides. This time 2 spokes broke. I contacted DT Swiss and they want $85 for each wheel to replace the spokes. These wheels are not worth $85 brand new. I was a slow learner. Between Xm1550's and M1700's, I've broken spokes on 7 wheels in 2 years. The rear spokes always break just above the threads that enter the hub. Mostly on the non-drive side, in the protected area behind the brake rotor. The DT Swiss representative told me that people lie and say they were just riding along and the spokes break. Then they get the wheels in and they look like they got hit by a truck. With these wheels, no one needs to lie. They break after just a couple rides. I will not buy anything that says DT Swiss again.

Strength:

Decent rim, decent hub

Weakness:

Proprietary spokes. They are a bit hard to find and require a special tool to replace. I've broken three of them so far.

There are wheelsets out there that are just as good and cheaper, with spoke systems that are easier to work with. They are a nice stiff wheelset, but after breaking three spokes, I'm less than enthused.
