Good grip on logs, roots & rocks. Predictable cornering drift when used in the back.
Washes out easily on the front. Wears REALLY fast, back tire is toast after 15-20 rides.
I had these on the front and back for about two months on my new Saber. I was washing out my front tire a lot & wondering if my bike was set up right. Finally tried a 2.5 Trail Bear on the front, MUCH better. The Kirin is a good back tire in combo with the trail bear, I can lean the bike into the corners and count on the back tire slipping just the tiniest bit before the front starts to go.
Probably a good wet weather tire, super sticky.
Dry ground, hardpack & pavement will wear the tread out amazingly fast.
two flamers for wearing out so fast & three for working good on the back.
