Strength:

Traction, Sidewall strength, Mud shedding ability

Weakness:

Weight

I've used this tire for DH lift serve. Great traction on softer surfaces as well as wet roots and rocks. The rubber is soft and really hooks up. I got a seasons worth out of them (20 trips to the mountain) but they are pretty worn now. Highly recommend this tire for DH

Strength:

Very good in wet conditions, superb traction.

Weakness:

Weight, rolling resistance. Mud clearance is too good.

I use 2.35 on my All-mountain rig. The traction is better than everything i have ridden. The best tire I used in wet conditions by far. Mud clearance is very effective. You better be ready to wipe your goggles frequently. The huge far apart placed centre knobs also love to throw little stones especially under the downtube. You may wanna apply a clear film if you re the concerned type.

I also tried 2.70 on the front. All the positive sides also apply for this one while even going one step forward with handling. The rolling resistance is very noticeable. On the flats it almost feels like your brake pads are rubbing.
And the weight being a little over 3 lbs. , it seems only suited for Downhill.

Strength:

Grip, side walls, run at low psi, grip and grip!

Weakness:

Hard to get on.

This tyre is heavy, with a high rolling resistance, but put it on a steep muddy DH track and point and shoot, I have the 2.35 and the 2.7's. The amount of grip you get from the 2.7's is scary. You can ride in the mud like it is dry. Not that good for flatter courses due to rolling resistance.
