Strength:

lightweight, easy to build a wheel with.

Weakness:

These spokes snap right below the nipple, I thought I would save weight going with these but the 1.8 thickness at the nipple is too weak. My wheel stayed perfectly true and felt great right until I heard a loud pop landing a jump and the spoke blew. I snapped one less than a month after building a 36h wheel with them, it is also annoying to replace a spoke when your using tubeless rim tape and stans. Instead of replacing just one spoke I will likely be rebuilding the rear wheel with DT Swiss comps instead, DT Swiss should remove MTB gravity from their description of these spokes on their site.

Complete waste of money, they snap right at the thread just below the nipple. DT Swiss Revolutions 2.0, 1.5, 2.0 would be a better choice if your going for a lightweight wheel build, at least they are stronger at the nipple thread. Or just go for DT Swiss Competition spokes, the minimal weight savings on these Supercomps is not worth having to frequently replace spokes when they snap right below the nipple.

Strength:

Light, easy to build, feel strong

Weakness:

These spokes break right above the nipple. I've broken 3 of them in the same place. A tensiometer was used to build these wheels.

These spokes feel like 14-15 spokes til they break. They are easy to build up, don't wind up during building, and are fairly light. However, they break right where the material has been removed to make the spokes light. These are the only spokes I've had break without provocation. A fella on mtbr says he's seen these break at a rate 10x higher than any other spoke. With all the spoke choices available, it would be foolish to choose these.

Strength:

DURABLE!!!This are the best spokes for disc brakes!!!

Weakness:

NONE!!!!

If you want a spoke that is much more resistent than REVOLUTION and just 35g hevier for 72spokes the super comp is for you, for a stiffer wheelset with disc brakes they are the BEST!!!!

Strength:

Lightest DB spoke you can buy that are strong enough for disc brake use. Usually can be bought for the same price as Comps.

Weakness:

A little of spoke windup wneh building tthe wheels. Hard to find.

These wheels come in at about 1500 gms and have been outstanding performers. The spokes are stiff enough that I do not notice any flex when climbing or descending. I'll repost after I have a few more miles on them.

Strength:

Super strong and lace super tight without stripping, lightweight, stay true

Weakness:

None experienced

Could not believe my eyes. Got these in just the length I needed on eBay of all places. Used these spokes laced 3X to a Synchros Big Box 32H double eyelet wheelset after my Mavics bent going downhill and sent me flying. Have complete faith in the Super Comps and these rims because they have taken a pounding over all types of terrain and stayed true to the mm. Never had to retrue. Tensioned a bit more than usual and had to hard grease the threads to get them good and tight in the nipples but the work paid off.
