Strength:

good spoke, strong, simple, good quality

Weakness:

none, they work better than wheelsmith spokes which are whats on most wheels out there. Perhaps if you looks at prices too much they may scare you,

buy these is you want good quility spokes in your wheels. all of DT's spokes are great products, don't even look for other companines ife would be better if they were the only spoke manufacturer

The only way to build wheels that last are 14 guage straight
3X front and rear. If the wheel builder builds them properly, you'll have an awesome set of wheels. You shouldn't buy it if you are a weight weenie

These butted gems are not only light weight they are very cheap at the place I ordered them at plus they custom cut them to the exact length I needed. 35 cents for a DT spoke is an absolute bargain. Makes me want to buy a bunch just to make spoke jewelry out of! ICYCLES Rocks!

Strength:

Best spoke on the market

Weakness:

none

These spokes have been around since the dawn of bike time. And people are just rediscovering them. They are the best, the strongest. Build your wheel right and you won't have to touch it for mega miles. This has been my experience. Use 36 spoke hubs/wheels and build 3 of 4 cross.

Lighter spokes or more radical lacing will just give you trouble. Do you want to ride or look cool. If you want to ride, build em right use good quality spokes and you won't be continuously tuning your wheels or replacing spokes. Too heavy, you say? Well then get in shape so you can push those wheels!...Lighter wheels, less of a workout...Slightly heavier wheels...better workout and more durable bike!!!
