Strength:

Easy to build
Good bead security, even with second hand, non tubeless tyres.

Weakness:

Cracked after minimal use.

Disappointing life span. I had high hopes and they worked well before falling apart. I hear this has been rectified with a change of material, but I'll be steering clear for a good while.

I had these rims built up to the new Shimano M529 29er hub. They have held up VERY well the last 2 months for my 220lb body. I have ridden nicely groomed singletrack, as well as rutty, rugged, all mountain trails. I love the graphics and the glossy black finish. I used the new WTB Bronson TCS tires and they instantly sealed up. The wheels are very light thanks to these rims.
