Strength:

Still true

Weakness:

rear pinch flats, heavy

I've had a couple of nice crashes on my hardtail and these Rims have never strayed out of true. Wish I could say the same for my cheap@ss brake rotors that seem to warp if I look at them funny. ...
Rear tends to pinch flats when jumping a high curb doesn't go off as planned. First two times I took it as I didn't have the pressure high enough.. third time I looked at the curb and said to myself "oh, you're going to make me flat" and then laughed while changing my tube out. Never had a problem on the trail, just street.
Frickn burly.
Value? They came with the frame i bought secondhand.
If you need something to take a beating, these'll work. Just keep an extra tube in your pack.

Strength:

Has been a good rim for me. Ive got it trued a few times. Im a pretty heavy rider and ride almost only downhill, jumps and drops and this rim has held up for 2-3 years.

Weakness:

None, a bit heavy

Im kind of surprised at everyone elses reviews b/c these have been great rims for me.

Strength:

Looks good, is very weak.

Weakness:

Weld point. Rim split after 2 days riding, don't buy is a waste of money if you intend on doing any form of downhilling.

A waste of time, spend a little more money and get the next rim up.

Strength:

Good overall geometry and weight for designed use.

Weakness:

needs welded joint

The wheel works great for AM and smooth FR remember this rim does not have welded joint so if your going to do stair sets and gaps make sure you got some heaver tires, tubes, spokes and hub. The rim is great if you understand and build the wheel for what its designed for AM. If you wanted to DH this baby gunna have to double up in other areas.

Strength:

its mavic looks good holds a big tire

Weakness:

its poop i say poop! just like the guy below me said, i took a 6 foot drop and landed perfectly and cracked the rim and the front rim 2 months later cracked on the weld the mavic 321 is 8 billion times better

rim is poop, get any other mavic just not the 325 its junk. cracks, welds come apart, pinches tubes, not strong enough go for the mavic 321 if u can find it or any other mavic

Weakness:

Cracked the rear wheel right at the weld from a 10 ft double. the landing wasn't really that hard, must have been right at the sup weld.

i've been riding for many years but only recently got into jumping. although this wasn't the best landing, i dont' think it was hard enough to crack a rim.

Strength:

It rolls...

Weakness:

It loves to take bites out of tubes.

If you dont mind spending some cash on extra tubes use it until you break them.
